A heartbroken Billy Ray Cyrus, who is now in the midst of a contentious divorce from his much younger second wife, is attempting to worm his way back into the good graces of his ex-wife, Tish. However, her protective husband, Dominic Purcell, who plays the role in "Prison Break," is trying to slow down Billy's career and is dubious of his motivations.

“Dominic doesn’t believe Billy Ray is genuinely sorry for the way he’s treated Tish — he thinks it’s just an act and he has no time for it,” an unnamed source told The National Enquirer.

The hitmaker of "Old Town Road," who is 62 years old, is currently engaged in a contentious divorce fight with Firerose, who is 35 years old. He began a relationship with Firerose in 2022, one month after he ended his 57-year marriage to Tish. His union to Firerose lasted for a mere seven months.

“Billy Ray is going through the worst time of his life with the divorce and all these money problems, and he’s incredibly needy and attempting to lean on Tish and get sympathy,” the anonymous insider divulged the entertainment news outlet.

“He realizes he made a huge mistake, that he needs a reset and wants to make things right both with Tish and their kids Brandi, 37, Trace, 35, and Miley, 31,” the unnamed informant said to the magazine.

“But Billy Ray treated Tish like garbage for so many years and Dominic sees himself as her protector. Tish sees him as ten times the man Billy Ray will ever be. Their marriage is solid, they’ve done their therapy, and Billy Ray’s the personal-space invader that neither of them wants. He can take his achy breaky heart elsewhere!” the tipster went on.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Billy Ray's connection with his daughter, Miley Cyrus, has been even more strained as a result of the publication of a frightening audio and text message in which he is accused of abusing both his daughter and his wife, Firerose, who is currently divorced from him.

"Dead to her" is how the former Disney star now describes her father, who is a country music singer, and she is entirely uninterested in his apology or statement. Since the recording was made public, Billy Ray has confirmed that he was the one who was speaking on it. He has provided the justification that Firerose had brought him to the point where he was at his "wit's end."

By allegedly referring to Miley as a "devil" in an audio outburst that was published by The Daily Mail, Billy Ray may have irreparably destroyed his relationship with Miley. Moles have now shared that Miley has lost any respect she had left for her father.

"There is no excuse, ever, for a father to call his daughter a skank. Any inkling of respect that Miley had for her father is gone. He is dead to her. Billy Ray and Miley have already been on bad terms since his marriage to Firerose only three months after her mother Tish filed for divorce,” a mole told the news outlet.

In the frightening recording, Billy Ray was heard insulting Firerose and speaking of himself in the third person before making it appear as though he was directing his venom toward Miley.

"Everyone knows that devil's a skank," Billay Ray allegedly said of Miley. However, some reports claimed Billy Ray was referring to his ex-wife, Tish, when he made the "devil" remark.
