During his time out and about in Los Angeles, California, Ben Affleck was observed sporting a shaved faux-hawk hairstyle.
According to photographs obtained by PEOPLE Magazine, the actor from "Good Will Hunting" appeared to be rocking out while wearing his new hairstyle, a T-shirt from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and a black leather jacket.
A pair of aviators were added to his outfit in order to protect his eyes from the sun; nevertheless, there was one accessory that was lacking. The allegations that Ben, who is 51 years old, is having problems in his marriage to Jennifer Lopez continue to circulate, and the “Gone Girl” actor did not have his wedding ring on.
Jennifer, who is 55 years old, was seen attending a Broadway musical in New York City on August 1. This new look for the "Town" star follows on the heels of other recent events. She was wearing her yellow-green diamond engagement ring, but she was wearing it on her right hand.
The news that Ben had moved out of his and Jennifer's marital home in May that was published exclusively by In Touch Weekly was the first thing that ignited rumors that the couple was about to break their relationship.
“The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! He’s focusing on his work and his kids now. Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
In the midst of reports that their marriage is experiencing difficulties, Jennifer and Ben have spent their summers on opposite coasts. The actor from "Hustlers" recently celebrated her 55th birthday with a party that was themed like Bridgerton, but Ben was strangely absent from the celebration.
“Jennifer knew better, but a part of her was still hoping that he would show up. Some of the guests thought so, too,” an anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet. “Ben’s absence was definitely noticed. While it was the elephant in the room, no one dared to ask the birthday girl about it,” it furthered.
The "Batman" actor completed the closing on his new house on the same day that Jennifer turned 55 years old, which was on July 24. This looked to be a particularly shocking coincidence. According to the paperwork that were obtained by In Touch, Ben paid a total of $20,500,000 for a brand new property in the Los Angeles areas.
The new house is much more in line with his aesthetic, despite the fact that it is smaller than the one that he and Jennifer purchased in May of 2023. In addition to a separate family room, walk-in closets, a media room, a powder room, and a guest house, it features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, breakfast and dining areas, and a separate family room.
“It’s more modest, way smaller and less expensive than the $61 million Beverly Hills mansion they purchased together and are trying to sell off. If Ben buying a new home without Jennifer Lopez isn’t a sign of trouble in their marriage, then I don’t know what is. He’s clearly moving on, but you can’t blame him for not going public about it,” a separate tipster told the magazine.
