“Jilted” Jennifer Lopez forced smiles during a birthday trip to Europe and later at a big Hamptons bash. However, a new report suggested that the “On the Floor” hitmaker has finally accepted her marriage to “sulky” Ben Affleck is smashed beyond repair and is determined to make him pay big-time.
The 55-year-old “Wedding Planner” star is sad to be going nuclear over Ben’s betrayal and is said to be gearing up for a scorching divorce war over their combined $550 million fortune.
“She’s extremely hurt and humiliated and feels like she’s been used. She’s not only mad, but she wants to get even, and to strike where Ben’s most vulnerable—his bank account,” an unnamed source told Globe Magazine.
It has been previously reported that Ben was such a cheapskate Jennifer funded most of their lavish lifestyle, from private jets, limos, hotels, and meals to basic living expenses like groceries and gas. Now, an anonymous insider claimed the dejected diva “made an itemized list of all their expenses and is seeing how she paid for most of everything.”
“She even doled out the tips for takeout. Now she wants her pound of flesh. It’s payback time! They pledged to love and honor in sickness and in health but clearly Ben did not. The ways she sees it, he reneged on their sacred vows and he must pay.,” the informant claimed.
The cracked Hollywood pair quietly listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million in early July, just a year since they purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bath palace for $60 million, as per Vanity Fair. Tipsters have it that Jennifer “will make sure she gets the lion’s share from the sale since she put up the bulk of the cash, bought the furniture and wrote the checks for the remodeling jobs.”
Meanwhile, reformed boozer Ben has been staying in a $100,000-a-month rental near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Instead of celebrating the “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s birthday, Ben closed on a $20 million Pacific Palisades mansion.
“The Fact that he didn’t come to her birthday party or post a happy birthday message on social media shows how little he cares. At least that’s how Jennifer’s seeing it. It’s too much for him to say something nice or send flowers,” the tipster told the entertainment news outlet.
Speculations about marital problems started earlier this year, but their marriage has been stormy from the start, with the pair caught arguing in public and looking dejected numerous times.
