In spite of numerous allegations, Ben Affleck is not dating Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., during the time that he is going through the divorce process with Jennifer Lopez.

According to an unnamed source who spoke to TMZ on Monday, August 26, the "Argo" star, who is 52 years old, and Kick, who is 36 years old, are merely friends. The insider also stated that she "thinks highly of Ben," and that there is no sexual relationship between the two.

In addition to being the granddaughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, Kick is also the grand-niece of the late John F. Kennedy, who served as President. In addition to some acting experience, she is also a philanthropist and an activist for the preservation of water resources.

On August 20, Jennifer, who is 55 years old, filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court. This date coincided with the anniversary of the celebration of the former couple's extravagant wedding in Georgia. The term "pro per" refers to the fact that she filed for her divorce without the assistance of an attorney.

On her website, the singer known for her hit song "Waiting for Tonight" listed the date of her breakup with Ben as April 26, 2024. Until that particular occasion, the couple had not been captured in a photograph together since March 30.

Following Jennifer's solo appearance at the Met Gala on May 6, fans started to speculate about whether or not there was a problem in their marriage. She walked the red carpet by herself, looking dejected, despite the fact that she was a co-chair of the event and had months to arrange her attire.

“Even the red carpet fashion commentators were confused, thinking Ben would be right behind Jen, but nope, she went solo, which shocked a lot of people,” an undisclosed informant told In Touch Weekly at the time.

The entertainment news outlet reported on May 15 that Ben had previously already moved out of the Beverly Hills mansion that the couple shared, and they were on the verge of breaking up.

“The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” the tipster stated.

Ben was spotted for the first time the next day as he was leaving his rental property in Brentwood, California, which was located closer to the residence of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their three children. The rental home was currently rented for $100,000 a month.

The actress who won an Academy Award and the actress who appeared in "Enough" were pictured together on multiple occasions in the month of May, but only for school events that involved their children. On the 30th of May, Jennifer accompanied Ben and his mother, Christopher Anne Boldt, to a pre-graduation party for his daughter Violet. However, after barely remaining for an hour, the "On the Floor" singer left the party by herself in a different car.

Ben would spend the summer working in Los Angeles, while Jennifer would move to the Hamptons. This would result in the two of them spending their time apart because they were on opposite coasts. On July 11, they made their Beverly Hills mansion up for public purchase at a price of $68 million.

The former couple did not communicate with one another on the occasion of their second anniversary of their elopement on July 16 in Las Vegas. Neither of them sent a message to the other.

When Jennifer announced on July 20 that she was celebrating her 55th birthday with a spectacular Bridgerton-themed party in the Hamptons, the situation grew even more difficult. Ben was nowhere to be seen, despite the fact that she was surrounded by friends and family members dressed in regency attire.

When the day of her real birthday arrived, which was July 24, Jennifer uploaded photographs of herself waking up at home to the surprise of her close friends, who had surprised her with a cake and a large bouquet of flowers. Subsequently, it was disclosed that Ben had successfully closed the escrow on a bachelor pad in Pacific Palisades, California, which was valued at twenty million dollars.

Jennifer had recently ended her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, who was her fiance at the time, prior to her restarting her relationship with Ben in April 2021. This came after their famed affair in the early 2000s. The pair, who had been together for four years, made the announcement of their separation two weeks before they were photographed together for the first time.

Ana de Armas, an actress, was Ben's most recent serious romantic relationship prior to his second go around with Jennifer. On a vacation to Cuba together in March of 2020, the two individuals, who had first met in 2019 while working on the filming of the suspenseful thriller “Deep Water” in New Orleans, were first linked to one another. The majority of the COVID-19 lockdown was spent with them engaging in PDA-filled walks, however they parted ways in February of 2021.
