Renovations are something that Jennifer Aniston relishes. Over the course of her career, she has renovated over six different residences, each of which she has redesigned to reflect her sophisticated and laid-back aesthetic.

Two years ago, the former cast member of "Friends" spent a whopping $14.8 million on a Tuscan-style farmhouse in Montecito, California, which was constructed in 1998 and features four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and a total of four bathrooms.

Due to the fact that she has been working on it ever since, Jenifer has installed a pool and renovated the property both inside and out. She is wanting to get away from Los Angeles and move to the tranquil enclave that is two hours away.

“She feels like it’s time to move on. She’s ready for a change and a new chapter,” an unnamed source told Life & Style Magazine.

That is not the only page that the star of the “Morning Show” intends to turn for herself. The 55-year-old woman is ready to revamp her love status as well, following a series of heartbreaks that she has experienced.

“She’s hopeful that a fresh start might make it easier for her to find love again. It’s been so long since she’s had a relationship — she really misses that companionship,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.

In the past, Jennifer has expressed her desire to pursue a career in interior design if she were not an actor. “I love that process. There’s something about picking out fabrics and finishes that feeds my soul,” she stated, as per Architectural Digest.

Therefore, it should not come as a surprise that the homes that she lived with her lovers carried a great deal of significance. In 2021, she and her first husband, Brad Pitt, started their married life by purchasing a French Normandy-style house in Beverly Hills that was 12,000 square feet in size and cost $13.1 million.

Brad and Jen then spent three years renovating the 1934 property while they were married. On the other hand, the couple, who divorced in 2005, had differing conceptions of what constitutes a house.

Jen attempted to make light of the humiliating situation after the breakup when Brad had gone on with Angelina Jolie, who had played the lead roles in the film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” She famously remarked, "[Now] I can have a comfortable couch," in response to the fact that their married home had been embellished with museum items and contemporary furniture that was constructed more for aesthetic purposes than for practical purposes.

It is said that she and her second husband, Justin Theroux, are still very close to one another and have spent time together in New York City. However, it is also said that their relationship has been fraught with some difficulties. Jennifer moved across the country to be with him on the East Coast while they were still dating throughout the time that they were together.

However, the two adjacent condominiums that she purchased in 2011 for $7.01 million were never able to receive her famed touch because she sold them the following year. In its place, the couple paid $21 million for the former residence of Quincy Jones, which was located in Bel Air.

After undergoing a significant renovation, they tied the knot there in the year 2015. There was no drama involved in their breakup three years later. Still, Jennifer had the want to get rid of the presence of her former partner.

“Welcome to the babe cave,” Jennifer joked during a tour of an airy cottage that was formerly Justin’s office. After he moved out, she said, “I lightened it up, stripped it all. He came over and was like, ‘What the f–k did you do?’ I said, ‘I brought the light back in, buddy.'”

“Jennifer has a very particular style and loves working with her loyal team of interior designers to bring her vision to life. She wants it to reflect her,” the undisclosed informant stated.

Possibly a new person as well. Without the pressures of Los Angeles, the atmosphere in Montecito is extremely relaxed. “Jen loves the lifestyle. She can go to the beach without getting bothered or run to the shops. The air is so fresh and clean — she says it smells like flowers all the time,” the tipster stated.

The social scene is very close-knit, with neighbors such as Rob Lowe and, of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“There’s a reason so many celebrities live here. It’s so beautiful and private and a world away from Hollywood, even if it’s only two hours,” the mole shared.

It is said that Jennifer, who is currently worth over $300 million, has nothing more to prove at this stage in her life. If there were one thing lacking, it would be another fantastic romance.

“[When it comes to a new guy] she doesn’t have a big checklist. She doesn’t need a flashy A-list star or someone super wealthy. She wants a man she can trust, someone she can laugh and feel safe with. Someone who makes her happy,” the tattler stated.
