It appears that Prince Harry's demands for an apology are being disregarded by Prince William and the other members of the Royal Family, a royal expert said.
That Prince Harry would not return to the royal fold unless he received an apology from his estranged brother is something that unnamed sources have reportedly indicated, according to The Mirror. It has been suggested by those who are close to Prince Harry that he is intent on "making a success of his life" in the United States, and he continues to assert that he is content with his decision to leave his royal existence.
On the other hand, it persists that he would be willing to accept a temporary position within the family in order to "help out" if King Charles were to request that he do so. However, Prince Harry, who will be 40 the following week, would still want an apology from his brother, who is at odds with him, if he were to represent the family in any capacity.
However, Rebecca English, who is the royal editor for The Daily Mail, claims that The Firm has "called his bluff" by opting to maintain silence. "As regards to the apology, what I think this boils down to is the Royal Family have called his bluff. They haven't reacted to any of his demands or his threats, either publicly or privately, I mean they, pretty much, have ignored the fact that Spare had been published,” she said of Prince Harry on the latest episode of the Palace Confidential.
According to Rebecca, she is of the opinion that the concept of silence is the "right approach" to adopt while responding to Harry and his numerous allegations and assertions. "It's like don't listen, don't make a fuss, don't give into it, just let it through [and] it'll blow away and harmony will restore itself,” she added.
Through his book, Prince Harry, who is 39 years old, took aim at members of his immediate family. Even though they were in the same room for their uncle Lord Fellowes' funeral in Norfolk last month, Prince William and Prince Harry have not spoken to each other in months and do not have any communication with each other at the present time. They have chosen to remain disconnected from each other.
There were reports that surfaced over the weekend that stated Prince Harry had reached out to a number of former trusted advisors as well as old friends in order to develop a "blueprint" that would outline how he may possibly start moving in UK circles again within the future.
On the other hand, The Mirror is aware that this is "far from his mind," and that any communication with former aides would be "purely for strategic and friendly advice," rather than any kind of plan to return to the fold.
In light of the circumstances surrounding the royal family this year, in which the King and Princess of Wales have both been required to take extended periods of leave from their duties due to the treatment of cancer, sources close to Prince Harry have stated that the Duke continues to be available and eager to provide assistance in the event that it is required of him.
Prince Harry's friends claim that he is also determined to strengthen his relationship with his father, particularly in light of the current health problems that his father has been experiencing.
