Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are working hard to find solutions to the problems that have arisen in their relationship, a new report claimed. After reports of a separation circulated this summer, the Hollywood couple stated, through their representatives, that they were "happy together."

On the other hand, an unnamed source told Star Magazine that the buzz "was a wake-up call" for the pair, who had been together for seven years. “It made them realize they aren’t ready to let go, but they need to put in work to get back to a solid place,” it stated.

According to the anonymous insider, this entails resuming sessions of couples therapy and making a commitment to spending a significant amount of time together. Dakota, who is 34 years old, is currently working on film projects, while Chris, who is 47 years old, has been touring with Coldplay. They have both been scheduled.

“[The distance] has been tough on them. They’ve butted heads on day-to-day things as well, and they’ve been back and forth about a wedding so many times they’ve lost count. But they plan to take a nice holiday and reconnect, and remember why they fell in love in the first place,” the undisclosed informant stated.

PEOPLE Magazine revealed in March 2024 that the famous couple had been engaged since the year 2020, which was the year that fans came upon Dakota wearing the ring for the first time. Additionally, the insider verified that Dakota's enormous emerald diamond is, in fact, her engagement ring.

“They got engaged years ago but were in no rush to get married,” the tipster added.

Over the course of the month of June, the famous pair was seen together at Glastonbury, where Chris Coldplay was performing as the headlining act at the 2024 music festival. “The couple is going strong. They’ve had ups and downs, but now they’re definitely back on,” the mole shared.

Despite the fact that Chris and Dakota had been together for seven years by the time the year 2024 drew to a close, fans were concerned over claims that circulated online stating that the celebrity couple had ended their relationship. However, a representative for the actor addressed PEOPLE on behalf of the couple and dispelled the rumors, stating that they were content with their relationship and that they were happy together.

“Their (Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson) relationship works because they are both very independent and actually have lives outside of their relationship too. It’s like every time they are not spotted together for a while, there are breakup rumors,” the tattler shared.

In the midst of recent rumors that she had ended her relationship, the "Daddio" star was seen showing off her engagement ring in public. It was reported by PEOPLE Magazine on August 16, 2024 that Dakota, who was out with her friends Jeremy Allen White and Blake Lee in Malibu, California, had her emerald engagement ring on her ring finger without any damage.
