A delicate scenario has arisen as a result of Meghan Markle's attempt to entice the Kardashian family to promote her and her new brand by presenting them with a delicious jelly as a gift.
According to recent reports, the head of the Kardashian family, Kris Jenner, appears to have changed her mind about engaging the wayward royal in her lucrative business transactions.
“Diva” Meghan made sure to give Kris, the 68-year-old genius behind the Kardashian reality programs and business empire, a limited edition jar of her spread when she launched her American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand earlier this year. She also made sure to send out limited edition jars of her spread to her famous friends.
The clan queenpin was eager to show off her jam on Instagram and publicly congratulate the former Suits actress. As a result, Meghan, who is 43 years old, is "very excited about having Kris on board," an unnamed source told GLOBE Magazine.
“There were a lot of promises made about how Kris was going to introduce her to all sorts of power players and really help push the brand along, but unfortunately nothing has materialized, and it now seems like it was just a lot of hot air,” the anonymous insider added.
The failure was just another setback for Meghan and her henpecked husband, Prince Harry, who abandoned their royal duties in 2020 in order to pursue Hollywood cash and increase their wealth.
“Kris had so much success making her daughters megawealthy and her help is just the kind that Meghan’s brand could really use. So it’s got to be a huge blow to Meghan that Kris doesn’t seem interested. Kris isn’t completely spitting them out and saying they’re chopped liver or anything, but she’s totally cooled off on her cross-promotional plans,” the undisclosed informant furthered.
After developing a close relationship with Kris and her family, Meghan and Prince Harry were reportedly considering making a move into reality television the previous year.
Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, who is 68 years old, even attended a glittering Hollywood gala in August 2023, where they partied with the reality queen bee and her daughter, Kim Kardashian, who is 43 years old and has a sex tape, as per The Daily Mail. According to our undercover agent, however, the link did not last.
“For a minute Kris was going gangbusters talking about all these new things they could do together and inviting Meghan into her tight-knit social circle and saying she wanted her on the show,” the tipster shared.
“But now she seems to have moved on to other things because you don’t see Meghan and Harry making the invite list these days. She’s also stopped bragging about the projects they have in the works,” it went on.
Meanwhile, since the introduction of her new lifestyle brand, which is situated in Montecito, California, about six months ago, Meghan has not yet made any of her products available to the general public. Additionally, her social media page has not been updated since the day of the launch, and her website is nothing more than an invitation to join the waitlist.
“No doubt the slow pace has been a big factor in Kris moving on to other projects. Everyone is convinced she got frustrated things were taking so long. She’s the type that goes full out when she has an idea. She doesn’t take days to deliberate, but works at warp speed and gets annoyed when people don’t keep up,” the mole shared.
The mother has also been coping with a terrifying health problem, as she disclosed in July that she needed to have a hysterectomy and have her ovaries removed since a tumor was found.
“She has a very full plate right now and with her health issues she’s being advised not to overstretch herself. But ultimately people can’t help but wonder if she’s dropped Meghan and Harry because she’s seen the opinion polls showing the Sussexes are down in the toilet. Kris enjoyed the jam and likes the fact that she’s got Meghan in her Rolodex, so to speak, but she isn’t rushing to invite them out to Palm Springs these days,” the tattler stated.
