Bony Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is sick of internet trolls who attack her for covering up her thin figure in baggy clothing even if it's hot outside, a new report claimed.
In a revealing trench coat, thick navy slacks, and black boots, the 49-year-old "Maleficent" witch brought attention to her extreme disguise when she arrived in 86-degree Venice, Italy, on August 27, drawing emphasis to her skeletal figure.
"She's wearing all these layers, as though it's winter, even though it's sweltering out. Of course, it had people whispering she's trying to disguise how underweight she is," an unnamed source told GLOBE Magazine.
The anonymous insider stated that the “Salt” actress wasn't taking the concerned comments well.
"She's SO sick and tired of being body-shamed, she swears she's in perfect health and by no means malnourished. She wishes people would back off,” the undisclosed informant stated.
The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actress's slender figure has been a topic of concern for a long time, with reports suggesting the 5-foot-7 beauty had dropped as low as 93 pounds.
"She insists the decades of rumors pertaining to her being dangerously underweight or having some type of eating disorder are wide off the mark and extremely cruel. She points out that she's been thin since childhood. It's something she's perfectly comfortable with, and there's no need for anyone to worry or panic,” the tipster stated.
Moles hypothesized that Angelina's eccentric sense of style stems from the continual speculation about her underweight appearance.
"She's sick of the endless scrutiny, hence the heavy clothing to cover up even in hot temperatures," the spy claimed, as per In Touch Weekly.
Her protestations, however, have failed to allay her inner circle's concerns over her frail physique.
"She can say she's fine all she wants, but it's hard to ignore what you see with your own eyes. She's clearly very, very thin, and she doesn't seem interested in doing anything about it,” the tattler suggested.
Her "anxiety" is so high, according to naysayers, that she frequently claims she is "too stressed to eat" and skips meals as a result of her continuing court battle with ex-hubby, Brad Pitt, 60.
"For the people in Angie's world it's a big worry. They fear she's in denial. But they know better now than to bring it up. She's made it very clear this is her life, her body, and nobody's to question her about it anymore, period,” the sources suggested.
