The fact that Whoopi Goldberg's new Big Apple studio does not have a private restroom has her quite upset.
Rumor has it that after ten years at ABC's Upper West Side headquarters, none of the co-hosts are overjoyed about the transfer to downtown Manhattan, even though the new space is state-of-the-art.
An unnamed source claimed that Whoopi, who is 68 years old, is, as usual, making the most noise. Her most pressing issue is that her new dressing room lacks an en suite bathroom, which means she will not have a private place to pee. Rumor has it that the typical ladies' room is just down the hall, so she'll have no choice but to use it.
"Prior to the move, she had the biggest dressing room of anybody, with a shower and toilet all to herself and she's gotten used to it. She doesn't want to share and she's complaining to everybody and they're getting sick of it,” the anonymous insider told GLOBE Magazine.
"Of course, people remember she has gassy problems so they're not that enthused about having to share a bathroom with her either. She wants the royal treatment, and most of all she wants her own large space. She thinks she's above it all, which is irritating,” the undisclosed informant further said.
The more she complains, the more her managers and coworkers have to put up with it, they say.
"The View is under enormous pressure right now as everyone knows, the show is on the line. It's a key year and wasting everyone's time is off-limits, but here Whoopi is, complaining loud and clear [about what's actually a piddling problem],” the tipster spilled.
The espionage claimed that her coworkers were furious and would like to see her go soon. Meanwhile, they are said to be advising her to calm down and quit complaining.
On Thursday, Whoopi of "The View" took aim at Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance for claiming that Taylor Swift, being a billionaire, would be unaffected by rising property expenses and pricing.
"You don’t know what affects her! You don’t know about her money! … Shut up, JD!” Whoopi stated. She then reversed course somewhat, saying, "I’m sorry, that was very rude. Stop talking, JD."
In April, Taylor was added to Forbes' list of billionaires; the magazine assessed the pop star's personal wealth to be $1.1 billion. Taylor endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president on Tuesday.
"When grocery prices go up 20%, it hurts most Americans, it doesn't hurt Taylor Swift. When housing prices become unaffordable, it doesn't affect Taylor Swift or any other billionaire. It does affect middle-class Americans all over our country,” Vance told Fox News.
The co-hosts dug deeper into Taylor's support of Harris following the commercial break.
"The reason I apologized is I hate when people tell me, pundits tell me to shut up. So it’s not a nice thing to say. So I do take it back, but the implication is, hush," Whoopi clarified again.
Sara Haines, Whoopi’s co-host, lauded Taylor for encouraging people to do their research and register to vote. The famous singer-songwriter explained that she would be supporting Kamala in the upcoming election because "she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."
