It appeared as though George Clooney and Brad Pitt were as close as thieves while they were on the promotional tour for their upcoming film, "Wolfs."
Although Brad, who is sixty years old, is said to have gotten a little too close to George's stunning wife, Amal, New Idea Magazine has heard that George, who is sixty-three years old, is quietly delighted that their duties are now done, thanks to Brad's actions.
An unnamed source claimed that Brad "went over the top trying to get in Amal's good graces” and that "it was kind of embarrassing and annoyed George no end.”
There have been rumors that the previously close-knit “Ocean's Eleven” co-stars have become estranged in recent years. This is proved by the fact that Brad did not show up to the Clooneys' wedding in 2014.
As per GQ Magazine, it was stated that he and George had lately made an effort to mend their relationship; however, according to the source, Brad's romantic involvement quickly put an end to that.
"In Brad's defence, he was simply trying to impress Amal, knowing he has zero chance at genuinely rekindling their friendship without her approval," the anonymous insider stated.
There is a possibility that George's sensitivity regarding Brad's connection with Amal can be traced back to comments that he made in 2018 after his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE Magazine at the time, Brad was impressed by the manner in which George discovered love with a lady who was so intelligent and well-educated and who was not from Hollywood.
"Brad has seen how happy and different Amal has made his friend. It has given him something to think about." the undisclosed informant said.
Tipsters couldn't help but notice that Brad's new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, does "resemble" a "younger sister" version of Amal. "George wasn't at all happy at how enamoured Brad seemed with Amal during the 'Wolfs' press tour and he's glad it's over," it added.
Furthermore, the “Ticket to Paradise” star simply leads a very different life to Brad these days.
"He's a dad now with a strong-willed wife and hopefully a future ahead of them in politics," the mole shared. "Hanging out with his old party mate just doesn't sit as comfortably with George as it used to."
However, according to a tattler close to Brad, he did not have any malicious motives, as New Idea Magazine reported.
"Brad would never step on George's lawn, not when he's trying to get back in his good graces," the second spy stated. Rather, the rumormonger claimed Brad is simply "fascinated" by Amal and her ability to tame his once confirmed bachelor pal.
Furthermore, when Brad's relationship with Ines becomes more serious, the naysayer claimed that he has the goal of recreating what the Clooneys had. "It's only natural he'd want to get to know Amal. She has a fountain of knowledge on how to adapt to an A-list wife style to share with Ines," it stated.
