On October 11 (KST), SM Entertainment, through Wizard Production, which oversees the production for RIIZE, officially announced Seunghan's return and shared the group's future plans. SM stated, "It has been approximately 10 months since Seunghan paused his group activities due to personal issues that arose before his debut. He acknowledges his past mistakes and has been deeply reflecting on his actions. He has been taking a break for nearly a year to address the concerns of both the members and the fans."
The company further explained, "We also recognized that Seunghan's previous actions were not appropriate for an artist, which is why it took a considerable amount of time to decide on the timing of his return.
