Travis Kelce may have celebrated his birthday with Taylor Swift after all!
A source claimed that the 34-year-old singer of "Cruel Summer" leased out a restaurant on Sunday, October 6, to honor her 35-year-old boyfriend, despite her absence from his party on Saturday, October 5.
According to the insider, the musician, her father, Scott Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and his family dined at the sushi destination Noka. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, the couple's friends, were also purportedly present at the meal, OK! Magazine reported.
The restaurant is typically closed on Sundays but is accessible for private events. The Kansas City Chiefs apparently played the New Orleans Saints the following day, necessitating an early night for the group.
On Monday, October 7, Swift was observed taking in the Chiefs' victory over the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium. At the event, the Eras Tour performer wore a plaid ensemble that she complemented with gold artificial freckles on her face. She looked stunning.
In the Wednesday, October 9 podcast episode, the football player's sibling Jason Kelce enquired of Travis, "You got any bye week plans?" following his significant victory. “Of course I do,” the star assured Jason, prompting Jason to attempt to extract a more detailed response from the actor.
“If any of it comes out [in the press], I’m sure we’ll talk about it on the show,” Travis confessed, as Jason conceded, "OK, cool, sounds good."
Travis appeared to be alluding to his recent trip to New York City with Swift, as the couple was observed at the famous Soho establishment, The Corner Store, on Friday, October 11, in the company of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Star Magazine reported.
During the couple's evening out, Swift was resplendent in a black Dior purse, a long tan coat, platform Louis Vuitton boots, and a Gucci corset. In the interim, Travis donned a black Jacquemus shirt, white trainers, and black trousers.
Travis' on-field performance has been the subject of recent criticism, with numerous viewers attributing his subpar performance to his hectic social schedule. The lovers' excursion occurred amid this criticism.
Jason defended his brother as the negative conversation reached a climax.
"He has always lived his life to the fullest," he stated. "Optics are that he is all over the place."
Despite Travis' high-profile relationship with Swift, Jason maintained that Travis' passion for the sport has not diminished, The Daily Mail reported.
"Football has always been the most important thing in Trav's life," shared the father of three.
"I know it's been a slow start for him," Jason acknowledged. "Trav is always gonna find a way to show up and show out. It's only a matter of time before he gets back."
