Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have decided to terminate their engagement after three years of dating.

A source told New Idea Magazine last week that the breakup only recently occurred, despite the couple's not yet making an official statement about it.

"They haven't been on the same page and grew apart," the source revealed. Tatum starred in the thriller “Blink Twice,” which was Zoë’s first directorial effort, earlier this year.

The couple gushed about each other's participation in the film while it was promoted in August. Around this time, Tatum, 44, also posted on Instagram to tell Zoë, 35, "1 got you forever."

Two months have passed since Tatum and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares a daughter named Everly, finalized their acrimonious divorce, as per E! Online. Disagreements regarding how to split Tatum‘s “Magic Mike” movie profits caused things to drag on for six years.

However, even after calling off their engagement, Zoë and Tatum have "remained in touch."

The couple has "no bad blood" despite their three-year relationship ending.

“There was no dramatic falling out between Tatum and Zoë. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways,” the source added.

The source said that the “Batman” actress and the “Magic Mike” star “both handled the breakup very maturely,” but “they came to a mutual realization that they were better off friends than romantic partners.”

Lenny Kravitz, Zoë's father, has "no hard feelings" toward Tatum despite hinting at his daughter's impending wedding earlier this summer.

“He understands that these things happen and just wants them to both be happy,” the source said.

The source has stated that the “Fly Away” singer, 60, and Tatum had grown “really close over the past few years.”

Tatum had a close relationship with Lenny and loved Zoë. The insider also asserted that Lenny felt the same way, as per ELLE.

Although friends claim she has a lot on her mind, a second insider said the "Big Little Lies" star has been in a good mood since the breakup.

The celebrity, who "danced all night" at a private Halloween party on Thursday, has been working with Austin Butler in New York City to film the upcoming film "Caught Stealing."

The relationship between Zoë and Butler's girlfriend, Kaia Gerber, a model and fashion scion, is said to be friendly, as stated by sources.
