From a young age, Princess Diana made it a point to instill in her sons the values of humility and the significance of giving back to the community.
After working on a cause that is so near and dear to her heart, sources close to the situation have stated that Prince William has been experiencing feelings of remorse regarding what his mother would think about his and Prince Harry's behavior in recent years, as reported by Woman's Day Australia.
A source stated that he has committed to his mother and will always look out for Prince Harry, and the fact that he has not fulfilled that pledge is a significant burden for him. While working on this documentary, he has been reminded of all the essential life lessons his mother imparted to them. He is aware that they are not close and that this would upset her, and he believes that he owes it to his mother to make an effort to mend things with Prince Harry.
Phil Dampier, an expert on the royal family, concurred that Princess Diana would be heartbroken to learn they had such a severe disagreement. He also noted that it would be a squandered chance to not collaborate on this project together.
"They both could have done so much good for something she was anxious for them to do," he said.
Following the publication of a promotional video for the forthcoming documentary “Prince William: We Can End Homelessness,” which was uploaded to YouTube on Saturday, October 26, the future king of England recalled a childhood experience.
Prince William, now 42 years old, recounted how his late mother, Princess Diana, took him and Prince Harry to The Passage, a charity in the United Kingdom that helps people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This encounter was pivotal for Prince William as a kid and opened his eyes to a new world, as per Business World.
“My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there. I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10,” Prince William said. “I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.”
Prince William revealed that the event made him conscious that his upbringing was extraordinarily fortunate and compelled him to accept that not everyone's life is the same as the one he was born into.
These remarks are believed to be the first time that Prince William has publicly spoken about Prince Harry since their disagreement escalated in the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the Royal Family in January 2020, La Vanguardia noted.
