Although Keith Urban has not been active as a coach for the past three years, he is probably contemplating returning to "The Voice Australia" in 2025, a new report claimed.
Keith was one of the original coaches during the first season of “The Voice Australia,” aired in 2012. He later returned for two consecutive seasons, in 2021 and 2022.
He recently made an unexpected appearance on the show by performing at the conclusion of this year's season. During this performance, he is claimed to have indicated interest in returning to the show as a coach.
While recording a performance for the grand finale, Keith was questioned about the possibility of returning, and he gave the impression that he would be open to the idea. However, the source explained that this would only be possible if it coincided with Nicole Kidman's plans to return to Australia simultaneously.
According to a source who spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle, Keith did not respond negatively when approached about returning. He said that he longs for the days when he was coaching and living in Australia.
The timing might be just right, as Keith is planning a significant tour in Australia for the following year. "If filming coincides, it might make sense for the whole family to stay in Australia,” the insider told Woman's Day Australia.
Meanwhile, fans of "The Voice Australia" were taken aback when Guy Sebastian announced earlier this week that he would be quitting his position as a coach on the reality show. He stated that he wanted to take a break to concentrate on creating and performing new music, 7News reported.
The singer, who has been sitting in the renowned red chair for the past six years, has been sitting in the chair.
Those with knowledge of the situation have reported that Guy is not the only coach who has decided to leave for the upcoming season. Kate Miller-Heidke and Adam Lambert have also announced their departure. It has been reported that Channel Seven is in the final stages of finalizing its new lineup, which includes three coaches who will be returning in addition to LeAnn Rimes.
“The line-up that Channel Seven wants is Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Ronan Keating and LeAnn Rimes,” the source at the network said. “They’ve all been on the show before and conversations had started a few months back.”
