A Democrat in the House is disclosing her terrible experience with Kamala Harris.

Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, currently awaiting the results of her reelection bid in Washington's 3rd Congressional District, reflected on her previous encounter with the Vice President, 60, following her defeat to Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

"When Harris first came out, I was open to talking with her. I know she called a lot of my colleagues; she never called me," stated the politician to The New York Times. "I’ve had one interaction with Harris, at her Naval Observatory Christmas party."

Perez observed that she does not feel particularly at ease around that kind of thing. After consuming a couple of beers, she became aware that most of the garlands were made of plastic items. The number of Christmas trees grown in my district is staggering. "Madam Vice President, we grow those where I live," she stated as she was coerced into taking a picture by the President of the United States.

Kamala proceeded to walk away from Perez. There might have been an eye roll. According to her perspective, people in Perez's area care about it. This is due to the respect and cultural regard for farmers. It seemed to her that Kamala did not comprehend what I was attempting to convey.

As previously reported by OK! Magazine, Harris has even faced criticism from her own campaign staff for appearing "happy" during a call following her significant loss to her Republican opponent, 78.

As stated by a source, her behavior after the results were determined was not in line with the actual events that took place. After being informed that the future of democracy is in jeopardy, the message was conveyed to us: "We'll get them the next time." People are feeling unhappy and frustrated due to the overconfident leadership of the electoral campaign.

As she conceded the 2024 presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris issued her supporters an encouraging and optimistic charge on Wednesday, November 6. She acknowledged the devastating loss while simultaneously committing to a peaceful transfer of power and vowing to "fight" in a manner significantly different from what a defeated presidential candidate promised to do four years ago.

"As long as we never give up and as long as we keep fighting," she asserted. "To my beloved Doug and my family, I love you very much. To President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, thank you for your support. To my extraordinary team, to the volunteers who gave so much of themselves, to the poll workers and local election officials, I thank you all."

"Look, I am so proud of the race we ran and the way we ran it. Over the 107 days of this campaign, we have been intentional about building community and building coalitions, bringing together people from every walk of life, united by love of country, by enthusiasm and joy by our fight for America's future. We did it with the knowledge that we all have so much in common than what separates us. Now I know folks are feeling and experiencing a range of emotions right now, I get it. But we must accept the results of this election," Harris concluded.

The address marked the culmination of a historic and turbulent election season, which included President Joe Biden's decision to resign due to his disastrous performance in the debates. Almost immediately, his running mate garnered the support of the party, which allowed him to move to the top of the Democratic ticket.

Additionally, her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, could be seen sobbing, and several guests were standing in the front row before she did, CNN reported.

Trump prevailed over Harris in all seven battleground states, defeating Democrats. In addition, the Republicans prevailed over the liberals in the Senate.
