Donald Trump lauded Melania Trump during his "victory speech," as he appears to have secured victory in the US election.
Donald Trump, a businessman, may have recently had the opportunity to win the US Presidential election. However, he quickly promoted his wife Melania's most recent initiative.
On the brink of becoming the 47th President of the United States, the Republican presidential nominee is mere centimeters away.
During his Wednesday evening appearance at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Trump expressed his gratitude to voters for their support during the razor-thin campaign to the White House, Reuters reported.
"This will truly be the golden age of America. It will make America great again. There was no other path to victory. We will make you proud of your vote," the businessman initiated his address to his supporters in California.
He subsequently expressed his gratitude to his close friends and family, including his wife, Melania Trump, for their assistance during his months-long campaign.
Trump beamed with delight as he gushed, "I want to also thank my beautiful wife, Melania," before addressing her as the "first lady."
As he delivered his speech, he turned to his wife of 19 years, who was standing behind him, and smiled.
"Who has the number one best-selling books in the country," Trump exclaimed, before inquiring of the audience, "Can you believe it?”
He continued, "Come here, honey," as he ardently embraced and kissed Melania after commending her accomplishments as he assumed the stage in West Palm Beach, Florida.
"She's done a great job, she works very hard, she works very hard to help people, so I just wanna thank her," Trump stated.
In her memoir, Melania Trump discussed her pro-choice stance on abortion when she encountered Donald Trump at a New York City nightclub, as well as rumors regarding her son's autism, as per The Guardian. However, she intentionally omitted numerous intimate details from her life.
He then expressed his gratitude to his extended family, which included his "amazing children" and his late mother and father-in-law.
While addressing his supporters, Donald Trump pledged to eradicate conflicts and establish America as the greatest nation.
“I will bring every energy, soul, and fire to make America the greatest and I am going to stop wars," stated the Republican candidate and former President of the United States.
As of 3:27 a.m. EST, Trump has secured 266 electoral votes, while outgoing vice president Kamala Harris is at a distance of 219 votes.
The election is still ongoing, even though Fox News has declared Trump the 47th president of the United States.
