The investigation into the tragic death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne has taken a new turn as one of three suspects arrested in Argentina speaks out about the case. Liam Payne, 31, died last month after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, a shocking incident that left fans around the world grieving. Authorities are scrutinizing the circumstances surrounding his fall, amid allegations that Payne may have been under the influence of illegal substances at the time.

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, including 21-year-old Braian Nahuel Paiz, who has come forward expressing his desire to cooperate fully with law enforcement. In an interview with US Weekly, Paiz stated, "I want to contribute everything: my phone, everything to the investigation. I have nothing that can harm me. The other thing is to contribute what I saw personally and what I experienced firsthand."

Paiz's remarks come as Argentinian prosecutors charge him and two others with various offenses, including one person facing a charge of "abandonment of a person followed by death."

Paiz, who claims to have briefly met Payne twice, described their interactions as casual encounters centered around music. "We met up with Liam, [it was] chill. We met, we listened to some music. He asked me what kind of music I liked, hip hop or dance. I told him dance," he recalled. According to Paiz, their acquaintance began through his job at a local restaurant, after which Payne reportedly contacted him using a "burner" Instagram account.

While Paiz admitted to visiting Payne's hotel room, he denied any involvement in supplying drugs. "No, we just saw each other. The person who was there before [me], I suppose, left him the box of soap and everything [that smuggled the drugs up to his room]," he said. Paiz described how he was asked to leave by Payne when another individual arrived, recounting, "I don't know what was going on, what was that. I realized, because I had my back turned and he turned around, what was going on. I turned around, got up, opened the door and there was no one."

In the aftermath of Payne's death, Paiz expressed his deep distress. "It was really bad. I got really sad, really bad at work. ... It took everything from me," he said. His comments underscore the complex and emotional nature of the case, which has drawn widespread attention due to Payne's celebrity status and the tragic circumstances of his passing.

The charges against Paiz and the other individuals include drug-related offenses and potential neglect. One of the suspects, a hotel employee, is also implicated in the case, although all three individuals maintain their innocence. The ongoing investigation aims to piece together the events that led to Payne's fall and determine any potential criminal responsibility.
