Angelina Jolie's principal responsibility has consistently been within her household.

In a recent interview with "Good Morning America," the 49-year-old star of "Girl, Interrupted" articulated her sentiments toward parenting her six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16.

During the promotion of her new film, "Maria," in which she portrays the renowned opera singer Maria Callas, she was inquired whether there was “anything in [her] life that compares to [Maria’s] love for singing?”

“Motherhood," the Academy Award recipient promptly responded. “It’s my happiness. You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters," she added.

The brunette beauty, who shares her children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, described how her eldest sons contributed to the production behind the scenes, emphasizing that it was an “amazing” experience for them.

Nevertheless, the producer emphasized that “none” of her children “desire to be in front of the camera” after having been in the public glare throughout their lives.

“They are quite private,” Angelina revealed, adding how her daughter Shiloh is exceptionally private. “They weren’t born with privacy. So I hope they can have that as they get older," she went on.

Most, if not all, fans are aware that the family of eight has faced numerous challenges over the years, as the stars of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" have been engaged in legal disputes since their separation in 2016. According to an insider, the "Maleficent" alum is prepared to progress.

The insider revealed to In Touch Weekly that she is endeavoring to relinquish the difficult periods experienced by her family and herself to live unencumbered. Angelina appeared to have experienced an awakening; this marks her subsequent chapter.

For years, Brad and Angelina's stormy relationship has been characterized by protracted court conflicts over child custody and selling their French winery.

The informant stated that Angelina acknowledged allowing her anger and resentment to dominate her for an extended period. She credits much of her newfound happiness to releasing her inner turmoil with Brad. Moreover, their children are robust and flourishing.

The two are engaged in a legal dispute, and a separate insider revealed that former lovebirds appeared to be utilizing their children to provoke one another.

Following the matriarch's attendance with Knox at the 2024 Governors Awards on Sunday, November 17, a source indicated that Brad was displeased with the decision, Page Six reported. The informant remarked that he critically examines her motivation for introducing Knox, seeing that Angelina purportedly did so to provoke him.

The informant indicated that Brad considers it somewhat coincidental that a court-approved the Château Miraval trial shortly before Knox accompanied Angelina to the Governors Awards.

Notwithstanding Brad's fears, the insider asserted that Knox attended the event voluntarily.

The confidante indicated that he prefers to remain out of the limelight, a choice Angelina honors; however, he inquired about joining her, and she was naturally delighted by his desire to go.

Angelina's parenting approach amid her ongoing court battles against Brad has sparked diverse reactions online. “Angelina’s dedication to her kids is inspiring. Motherhood truly defines her priorities," an X user stated.

“Using children as pawns in legal battles is unfair. Both parents need to step up," a second netizen shared. “Knox supporting his mom at the awards is heartwarming—he’s growing into a fine young man," a third user added.
