Tom Brady and his former spouse, Gisele Bündchen, will not be commemorating Thanksgiving together this year, a new report claimed.
“Gisele took the kids and headed to Costa Rica with Joaquim [Valente] to spend the holiday with each other. Tom is supportive and that’s the arrangement he and Gisele have agreed upon," an unnamed source told PageSix.
During the holiday, Bündchen, 44, and the children are overseas, while Brady, 47, will be occupied with work on Thanksgiving, according to the unidentified insider. “He’s going to be calling the game for Fox that day and will be tied up with work,” it added.
Brady is an NFL broadcaster for Fox Sports who will announce the Thanksgiving game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
Nevertheless, the former Patriots quarterback will still have plenty of opportunities to spend time with his children throughout the holiday season.
The former couple, who ended their 13-year marriage in 2022, have a son, Benjamin, aged 14, and a daughter, Vivian, aged 11. The Super Bowl champion is the father of 17-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.
Subsequent to her separation from Brady, Bündchen commenced a relationship with her jiu-jitsu teacher boyfriend a few months thereafter. The supermodel declared her pregnancy with their first child on October 28.
Previous reports claimed that Brady was astonished upon discovering that Bündchen was expecting a child with Valente.
A source asserted that Tom was aware of the seriousness of Gisele and Joaquim's relationship, but he never anticipated that they would conceive a child together. It simply was not within his awareness. Upon receiving the news from Gisele, he was, to put it mildly, astonished.
Social media users promptly responded to the announcement of Brady and Bündchen's Thanksgiving arrangements and the pregnancy disclosure.
“Wait, Gisele’s pregnant? Tom must be blindsided by this. Can’t imagine how awkward Thanksgiving will be," a netizen penned on X, formerly Twitter. “As long as they’re co-parenting well, it’s all good. But this baby news feels messy," another X user commented.
“Brady is a legend, but this is drama even for him. Focus on the game, GOAT!" a third source noted. “Gisele deserves happiness. She’s thriving with Joaquim while Tom sticks to his playbook. Let her live!” a fan suggested.
“Tom should’ve seen this coming. She’s moved on and he’s still working on holidays. Priorities, man," a fifth netizen wrote. Another Brady headline, another round of chaos. Can we go a week without hearing about him or Gisele?” another X user shared.
