Scott Disick deemed it "disrespectful" that Kristin Cavallari disclosed his private direct message on her podcast on Tuesday, and he criticized the unusual timing of its transmission, a new report claimed.

An anonymous source asserted that Scott is unaware of why Kristin perceives his text to her as manipulating, which was not his intended interpretation. Scott is perplexed as to why Kristin deemed it necessary to disclose publicly what he considered a private communication between them.

The informant indicated that the 41-year-old former star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" is not "embarrassed" by the situation but perceives it as pointless and disrespectful.

An insider told PageSix that Scott was sincere and did not understand the significance of contacting Kristin to inquire about a potential reunion. He is genuinely astonished by her reaction and does not anticipate it whatsoever. Scott believes she might have rejected or disregarded the message had she not been interested.

On Tuesday, Cavallari, 37, criticized the "manipulative" father of three on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast for attempting to reconcile by messaging her directly.

“Hey!!! It’s been such a long time, it’s crazy. Kind of crazy how our lives ended up being kind of similar,” Cavallari claimed Disick wrote.

“I feel like it would be so good to see you and catch up and talk about the things you’ve got to go through with kids and changing your life around over and over. I really miss you though and wish I would have reached out earlier just been busy trying to be the best dad I can be. I don’t have time for much but trying to think about myself a little bit again. Trying, anyway. Hope to hear from you. Just text me so it’s easier to chat," the “Kardashians” star’s message further said, according to Cavallari.

Cavallari remarked that the timing of Disick's tweets was "noteworthy," given her recent criticisms of the Kardashians on her podcast. The "Hills" alum characterized Disick's messages as the "most manipulative" she has ever encountered, further stating that it exemplified "classic textbook manipulation control nonsense."

Cavallari stated that she and the creator of Talentless were formerly friends, and she also formed a friendship with his former partner, Kourtney Kardashian. She stated that circumstances deteriorated following her celebration with Disick and their acquaintances in Las Vegas during his temporary separation from the Poosh founder in 2011, as per InStyle Magazine.

Reports surfaced indicating that the duo had engaged in a romantic liaison, which Cavallari refuted. The mother of three asserted that Disick was "100 percent" responsible for the rumors.

Cavallari announced on Instagram that she was in her "villain era" after revealing Disick's private communications to her.

The drama has provoked a surge of opinions online, with supporters and detractors aligning themselves.

"Kristin exposing Scott is giving main character energy, and I’m here for it," one netizen wrote. "Private messages are private for a reason. Kristin went too far this time," another X user said.

"This feels like another excuse to take shots at the Kardashians. Just let it go!" a third source commented. "Scott’s message seemed heartfelt. Kristin’s overreacting, in my opinion," another X user added.

"Why can’t these two handle their issues off the internet like normal people?" a fifth penned. "If this is Kristin’s villain era, I’m living for it!" another netizen responded.
