After what she described as a "rough" breakup with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is said to be prepared to "start the new year fresh."

It is noteworthy that the "Atlas" actress, who is 55 years old and was recently seen home searching in Los Angeles this week, filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, who is 52 years old, this past August, on the occasion of their second wedding anniversary.

The actress is planning to put the dissolution of her marriage in the past and move on with her life in 2025, according to a source who spoke to People and was quoted in a piece that was published on Friday.

Based on the information provided by the source, Jennifer is "focused on her own life" and added, "She has had a rough year but is doing well. She's ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh."

According to Daily Mail, Jennifer has been "house-hunting for her and the kids" and "would like to find another home for them." Max and Emme, who are 16 years old, are Jennifer's twin children. Marc Anthony, to whom Jennifer was married from 2004 until their divorce in 2014, is the father of her twin children.

The Beverly Hills house that she and Ben had purchased together for 68 million dollars is still on the market at the present time, despite the fact that it was first advertised in July.

According to a report that was published by TMZ at the time, a couple from New Jersey had made an offer on the residence for $64 million back in September, but they "pulled out of escrow" after a death occurred in the family.

And earlier this week, on Thursday, Jennifer was observed looking at houses in Beverly Hills as well as Brentwood, which is a district in Los Angeles where Ben now resides.

During her search for a new residence for her family, the singer looked to be in a state of tension as she went on tours of three extremely enormous estates.

In contrast, per Geo News, Ben had spent some quality time together on Thanksgiving with his ex-wife and their children, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 years old.

In addition, Jennifer made a post on Instagram that provided a peak inside the Thanksgiving event she was hosting.

"I hope everybody had a beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving. I am so incredibly grateful for all of you," she wrote along with a photo of herself.

Social media erupted with responses to Lopez's ongoing transformation.

"J.Lo deserves all the happiness in the world! Starting fresh is the best thing she can do," a fan said.

"How is that mansion still on the market? Someone buy it already!" another one wrote.

"Glad Ben spent time with his kids, but J.Lo's moving on like a queen," a third person chimed in.

"Beverly Hills estates and family goals-Jennifer Lopez's resilience is unmatched," a fourth fan quipped.

"Wishing Jennifer peace and success in the new year. She's been through enough!" another follower said.

"Fresh start for J.Lo? Yes, please! She's unstoppable," a fan wrote.
