Lana Del Rey, a singer, attributes her "amazing" marriage to Jeremy Dufrene to Jack Antonoff.
The producer is one of the reasons why the Summertime Sadness hitmaker recently married the alligator tour guide this past September, according to her.
"Most of all, I'm grateful for [Antonoff], for his example that he gave me in his marriage to Margaret [Qualley]," Lana stated while awarding her longstanding collaborator the Producer of the Decade award at Variety's Hitmakers Brunch on Saturday.
"I saw the way he looked at her when he met her, and he's a big reason why I waited so long to get married and why I met my amazing husband," the singer added, according to Page Six.
The 39-year-old expressed that she had been oppressed by "a singer's curse" since she encountered an honest companion who was not associated with the music industry.
"It's super nerve-wracking to hold on to an innocent perception of how things could go when you're in an industry where maybe your values and your morals don't quite match up with what's going on," she stated.
"Especially when people think you probably don't have any morals or values."
The pop star concluded her speech by expressing gratitude to Antonoff for "helping other people look at me in a way that is a little bit closer to how I perceived myself."
Del Rey added: "Other than my managers, you really have turned my life around ... you've just really made it feel like Hollywood can be glamorous still and you can still have a very rich home life, even when you get rich."
On Thursday, September 26, she and Dufrene exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony by the water in Des Allemandes, Louisiana.
Photos have surfaced of Del Rey, who was attired in a white gown and veil, as she walked down the aisle with her father, Robert Grant. She was holding a bouquet in her hand and her hair was arranged in a curly ponytail that elegantly draped over one shoulder.
The Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court verified to People that the couple had obtained their marriage license on September 23. Arthur's Airboat Tours employs Dufrene as an alligator tour guide. In 2019, Del Rey posted photos on Facebook of herself on a tour with her future husband and friends. She captioned the photos with the phrase "Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur's Air Boat Tours."
Del Rey appeared in the photographs wearing a black zip-up jacket and black leggings, with her hair tied back. Jeremy was also present, wearing a camouflaged hoodie, trousers, and a hat.
Despite his absence from the photo, Del Rey hinted at her budding relationship with Dufrene by labeling him in a May 2024 Instagram post in which she posed with her siblings.
She captioned the image, "Family w[ith] my guy @jeremy.dufrene @codyjay."
The relationship between the two was revealed in August 2024 at the Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom, when they were observed strolling hand-in-hand.
On September 7, the couple publicly acknowledged their relationship by attending the nuptials of model Karen Elson to Lee Foster, the head of Electric Lady Studios, in New York City. It seems that Dufrene has children from a previous relationship.
According to the Daily Mail, the tour guide has shared information about his daughters on social media, despite the fact that his Instagram account is private. There is not much else that is known about him, except that his excursions are considered to be exceptional and he enjoys spending time with Del Rey.
