With the release of their most recent documentary series on Netflix, "POLO," Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making preparations to "hopefully" capture audiences once more.

According to OK!, a five-part series that provides an up-close and personal look at the 2024 United States Open Polo Championship is being produced with the intention of dismantling the age-old notion that polo is a sport that is reserved exclusively for the wealthy.

The two received acclaim from the program's showrunner, Miloš Balać, who said, "It was just easy to constantly have conversations with them about what we're showing and how we're showing it."

Throughout the entirety of the series, Prince Harry's lifelong passion for polo is made very clear. Balać noted, "He was really a driving force in trying to tell these stories."

In the beginning, Meghan was not familiar with the sport; nevertheless, she has since become "a huge fan," completely immersing herself in the activity and contributing a new point of view to the story.

It has been stated that the last episode of the series, which includes footage from the Sentebale Polo Challenge that took place in Wellington, Florida, reaches an emotional crescendo. The episode includes a sweet moment in which Meghan, a former actress, presents her Duke with a trophy, followed by a poignant kiss. This scene has caused social media to be abuzz with excitement. Here, Meghan can be heard cheering for Harry.

Not only does the documentary concentrate on the glitz and glamour, but it also looks into the commitment and willingness to make sacrifices of elite players such as Nadolfo Cambiaso. The series also shows the Duchess's language aptitude by demonstrating her ability to converse fluently in Spanish with Cambiaso. This is a skill that she cultivated during her time in Argentina.

According to The Royal Observer, the objective of the documentary series is to increase the popularity of polo by dispelling misconceptions and showing it as a sport that emphasizes tenacity and community. Balać emphasized, "We wanted to show that polo is not just about champagne and socializing; it's a sport that requires immense dedication."

This project is a part of the multi-year arrangement that the Sussexes have with Netflix, which is scheduled to expire in the fall of next year. This deal comes after the Sussexes' debut documentary series, Prince Harry & Meghan, which broke records.

Archewell Productions, the company for which they are responsible, continues to produce content that "resonates with global audiences."

Meghan is said to be starring in another Netflix series that will focus on gardening, cooking, and entertaining. The series is expected to premiere in the early years of 2025.
