Ed Kelce is well aware of the ideal birthday present for a billionaire.
Travis Kelce's father revealed what sort of birthday present he would purchase his son's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in advance of her 35th birthday on Thursday's episode of the "Baskin & Phelps" podcast, according to The New International.
"Trying to buy Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason Kelce and Travis a present. There's nothing they want that they don't already have," the dad of two said. "There's nothing that they're thinking they might get, that they haven't already figured out. ... You can't go that route. You have to look beyond there. You have to ... dig down and come up with something special."
Ed said the amount of money someone could spend on a present for someone like the "Bad Blood" singer is "meaningless."
"You're not going to impress Taylor with a gift that costs $100,000," he noted. "But get something that twists the strings of her heart that you spent 10 bucks on and she'll just be all gooey. You gotta find something that triggers the emotions."
Before her big day on Friday, Taylor, who turns 35, has been sighted in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Grammy winner was spotted at Children's Mercy Hospital on Thursday.
The pop singer, wearing a matching Miu Miu plaid skirt pair, was seen grinning while sitting close to a dog in pictures that were circulated online.
Taylor's birthday plans with the Kansas City Chiefs star are unknown.
But according to an exclusive revelation by Page Six, Travis, 35, wanted to make this year's birthday "extra special."
"This is a milestone birthday for Taylor so he wants to make it extra special," a source said earlier this month. "Travis has only let a few of those closest to him know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn't want to ruin any surprises."
The insider also said that the tight end, who began dating Taylor last summer, "has been shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now."
The source said Travis is not a last-minute shopper "so he's been picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance."
"Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like," the insider added. "Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn't realize he is."
