With the release of her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift has regained her position as the number one album on the Billboard 200 albums list.

Variety claims that as fans grab the kit's four vinyls and two CD sets, sales of the Anthology deluxe edition of the project, which is only available at Target, have increased.

After its first week of sales, the new version of TTPD sold 405,000 album units in North America.

With 368,000 conventional album units sold, Taylor surpassed her record for the largest week for any album. In its first week following its April 2024 release, it sold 439,000 units.

Taylor's 12-week run eclipsed Whitney Houston's 1987 11-week record for the only female album to spend that long at number one, and the milestone marked the album's 16th non-consecutive week at the top.

Kendrick Lamar's GNX, the "Wicked" soundtrack, "Juice WRLD's" "The Party Never Ends," and Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" are all behind Taylor, per Daily Mail.

It comes after the singer finished her last Eras Tour show in Vancouver on Sunday night.

Gracie Abrams was the opening act for the consecutive final concerts at BC Place stadium on December 6, 7, and 8.

The singer's three-hour, forty-song setlist for her tour, which was divided into several "eras" based on her ten studio albums, established several records.

It also gave rise to Taylor's other hits, such as The Eras Tour Book and the concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

During her May performance in Paris, Taylor disclosed that she has been preparing the Tortured Poets Department portion of her tour since 2023.

She gave her audience an update throughout her performance after making changes to the production.

"We started planning this surprise for you about eight or nine months ago and then when we got 'two months off' of the Eras Tour, we really didn't take any time off at all," she said.

"We just went directly back into rehearsals. So I'd like to give it up for my crew, my dancers, and my band," she added.

Taylor's eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, was released on April 19.

In a spectacular comeback to her tour, Taylor treated fans to a shortened set list that featured six new songs from TTPD in place of her previous hits while revealing new ensembles on stage in Europe in the spring.

Gigi Hadid, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Bethenny Frankel, and other celebs were among the many celebrities who attended the concerts.

According to Us Weekly, the Pennsylvania native intends to take a year off when her tour, which started in March 2023, concludes.

She enjoys spending time with Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs football player, whom she has been seeing for more than a year.

Swift's ascendant fame has provoked discussions online. Supporters are polarized regarding her unyielding tempo and transforming style.

"She's literally rewriting music history. Queen behavior! " one fan said.

"16 weeks at No. 1? Whitney would be proud. Taylor deserves this," another follower wrote.

"I love TTPD, but I miss the old Taylor. This album feels too polished," a third fan disagreed.

"Not surprised. Swift knows how to market, but does anyone actually listen to these deluxe editions?" a fourth chimed in.

"Imagine winning at music AND love. Taylor and Travis are GOALS," a netizen said.

"Those vinyl sets are gorgeous, but they're draining my wallet! " another wrote.
