Sean "Diddy" Combs, already embroiled in multiple legal battles, is facing fresh allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman nearly two decades ago. Latroya Grayson, the plaintiff, filed a lawsuit on December 20 in the Southern District of New York, alleging that she was lured to a 2006 party hosted by Combs through a radio contest. The legal filing also accuses other entities, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, and Delta Airlines, of complicity in facilitating the event where the alleged assault occurred.

Grayson, who was 23 at the time, claims she was flown from Oklahoma to New York City after her half-sibling won a contest hosted by KJAMZ 103.5 FM to attend one of Combs' "legendary" parties. Originally advertised as a "White Party," the event was later rebranded as a "Black Party." The lawsuit states that upon entering the party alone, Grayson consumed two premade drinks served by waitstaff and began to feel unwell before losing consciousness.

In her legal complaint, Grayson stated that she woke up in Saint Vincent's Medical Center with "no memory of how I got there." She alleged that she found her shirt torn, her underwear and shoes missing, and her body in pain, indicating rough intercourse, although she had no recollection of the events.

The lawsuit includes photographs of Grayson at the event and hospital records to support her claims. Grayson alleges that the day after the party, she received a phone call from a woman with a New York number warning her to remain silent. According to the complaint, the caller stated that pursuing legal action would be futile because Combs was a powerful celebrity.

Grayson is suing Combs, along with Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Delta Airlines, KJAMZ 103.5 FM, and the Roger Smith Hotel, where she stayed during her trip. The suit accuses the defendants of negligence, infliction of emotional distress, and violations of the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, among other charges.

Combs, through his legal team, has denied all allegations. Ms. Grayson's "allegations against him are pure fiction," his attorneys stated. "Ms. Grayson admits she has no memory of the events alleged in her complaint, does not know who was supposedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs."

The lawsuit also alleges that the defendants collectively created an unsafe environment. "he "felt betrayed" by Atlantic and KJAMZ, who "failed to protect her despite creating, promoting, and financing a contest that led her to harm," the filing reads.

Delta Airlines responded to the lawsuit, stating it was "not aware of and did not participate in the unlawful actions alleged." Representatives for Atlantic Records, KJAMZ, and the Roger Smith Hotel have not commented on the allegations.

Grayson alleges that the trauma from the incident derailed her life, leading to severe anxiety, depression, and an inability to maintain stable employment or relationships. She claims the incident "altered the trajectory of her life" and seeks damages under the lawsuit.

Combs, currently detained at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center on unrelated federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, faces multiple civil suits of a similar nature. His legal team has dismissed these cases as "shameless publicity stunts."

The lawsuit was filed under a provision of the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows victims to bring forth older claims within a two-year window ending in March 2025.
