Sam Asghari is set to appear on "The Traitors," the acclaimed series characterized by uncertainty over trust and hidden agendas.

He has been effectively prepared for this circumstance for years, having lived under the intense scrutiny of celebrity culture alongside his ex-wife, Britney Spears.

“I’ve learned a lot in the past five or six years being exposed to that (darker) side of Hollywood. And it’s quite a blessing,” Sam told Page Six.

He describes his relationship with the pop artist as a brief yet enlightening experience in Hollywood that ultimately benefited him. Sam believed it would serve as an advantageous instrument in "The Traitors" game.

Sam, 30, endorsed Britney during the “Free Britney” movement as she attempted to escape a stringent court-mandated conservatorship that governed every facet of her life for 13 years, initiated by her father, Jamie Spears, as per Metro.co.uk.

“It’s a human rights movement," he articulated online the evening before the dissolution of the conservatorship in November 2021. He believes that as a partner, providing unwavering support and being a steadfast advocate is a fundamental obligation.

Sam, who separated from Britney in 2023, has dedicated the past year to his professional endeavors, while his former partner has continued to elicit concern among her numerous fans through her erratic Instagram videos, many of which depict her dancing in revealing attire.

On her 43rd birthday, December 2, coinciding with the day both were declared legally single by a Los Angeles court, the “Hit Me Baby…One More Time” hitmaker asserted that she was turning five years old and intended to relocate to Mexico. Her representative subsequently refuted this statement.

This raises the question: Does Sam maintain communication with Britney, and will he persist in supporting her?

Sam merely wishes her the best. He believes that the paramount quality of a partner is unwavering support for one another, irrespective of circumstances.

Despite the connection being firmly in the past, he emphasizes that exploiting anyone is never justified.

Sam asserted that we all navigate through life, encountering many chapters and meeting individuals who significantly influence our existence, adding, "you’re just always thankful for every moment that you spent with people in the past."

He says what truly grinds his gears is when people divide and hurl mud at each other.

They once sat at the same table and ate together and proclaimed each other the love of their lives. Sam never liked that conduct. And it’s something that he never wanted to replicate himself, so he's so grateful that it has never been me.

The most important thing, he argues, is to “move forward” and “always be thankful for everything that has ever happened to you.”

As for Britney's future, whether it’s releasing new songs or planning to create a movie version of her memoir with “Wicked” director Jon Chu while restoring her connection with her boys Jayden, 18, and Preston, 19, her ex says he would love for her to pursue whatever makes her happy.

He was “absolutely” in love with Britney despite what anyone may say.

Sam feels it’s fairly normal for people to separate…but people prefer to place celebrities on a pedestal.

Citing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as the “biggest celebrities dating right now”, he notes that they are just like everybody else, adding that they want to go on fancy dates; they like to be at home on comfortable dates.

For him, it is merely a public matter, which can occasionally complicate their circumstances. He finds it amusing to read about other celebrities, as he knows the absurdity and veracity of the things written about him.

Sam, possessing striking features, captivated Britney during their encounter on the set of her 2016 music video for "Slumber Party," where he portrayed an attractive man in a suit observing her sensually consume spilled milk. They exchanged contact information, and months later, Britney contacted him after discovering his number in her bag.
