The Republican-controlled House and Senate are already at odds with one another, and Trump has already caused outrage by praising a far-right lawyer who is facing multiple felony charges related to his alleged efforts to sabotage the 2020 presidential election. Although it was "disappointing" that Trump was able to win a second term, Wilson assured DeVega that the country is still deeply divided and that Trump lacks the mandate that his henchmen are attempting to portray.
