Wildfires in California are threatening to destroy Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's home. Over the course of the year 2020, the couple and their two young children, Prince Archie, who is five years old, and Princess Lilibet, who is three years old, have been living in this "high fire risk" mansion.

According to Mirror, as the fires continue to burn, the local electricity companies have issued a warning about the possibility of power shortages, which might make the family's condition much more difficult.

As a result of a Red Flag Warning and an elevated danger of wildfires, one of the key utility suppliers is considering implementing a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in specific regions of Santa Barbara County.

A spokesman stated that the company would communicate with the affected customers in Montecito with the information. There is a possibility that the Duke and Duchess will be required to leave their home in order to escape the wildfires.

A total of approximately 30,000 people living in Los Angeles have been instructed to leave their homes, particularly those living in the Pacific Palisades, a wealthy neighborhood that is comparable to Montecito and has been severely damaged by fires that have been compounded by strong winds.

The year 2020 was the year that Prince Harry and Meghan acquired their residence, following their unexpected departure from royal duties in the United Kingdom. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they sought sanctuary with their partner Tyler Perry in California, where they were able to ensure their own safety and private security. Their taxpayer-subsidized police protection came to an end. So, they selected Perry to bestow the role of godfather upon their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

Since they purchased their gorgeous property for $14.65 million, its value has nearly increased to $29 million (£23.5 million), which is a significant increase.

According to Page Six, a royal air permeates the nine-bedroom mansion. During the year 2022, Meghan revealed to The Cut that they fell in love with the house almost immediately. Even though they were jobless, their web searches consistently displayed the home.

They were impressed by the five-acre grounds, which offered the family isolation from the outside world. Meghan observed that the presence of two palm trees in the yard that were intertwined served as a big selling factor because they represented their connection.

The construction of "The Chateau," an extravagant home, took place over the course of five years and culminated in 2003. Home theater, fitness center, wet and dry sauna, guest house, library, home office, five-car garage, wine cellar, and arcade are some of the amenities that are included in this property. The estate's exterior features large lawns, tiered rose gardens, and a swimming pool.

The pair was able to maintain their privacy despite the scandal and the filming of Meghan's new Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan," which featured her finest advice on a variety of concerns. To produce the series, they did not use their own but a nearby home costing $6 million was leased.
