Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's Los Angeles home was burglarized over the weekend after an unknown intruder broke a window to gain entry before being confronted by a house staffer and fleeing the scene, according to law enforcement sources.

The A-list couple was not at home at the time of the incident. Law enforcement officials have not made any arrests, and it remains unclear if any valuables were taken. Authorities continue to investigate the break-in.

According to reports, a staff member arrived at the property just as the burglary was occurring, prompting the intruder to flee. Neither Kidman's nor Urban's representatives immediately responded to requests for comment.

Kidman and Urban, married since 2006, own multiple properties beyond their Los Angeles residence, including real estate in Nashville, Sydney, and New York City, according to Architectural Digest. Their L.A. home is part of an extensive portfolio that reflects their dual careers in Hollywood and country music.

The burglary comes amid a tumultuous period for Kidman, who has kept a packed schedule following the passing of her mother, Janelle, in September. The actress has spoken publicly about how her mother's final words encouraged her to prioritize self-care. "I was going to get on a plane and go back to see her. And she was like, 'Maybe wait a minute. Because I think, you know, you just need to take care of yourself right now, Nikki,'" Kidman said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

Kidman has since urged others, particularly women, to prioritize their well-being, stating, "I say that to other people in the world, and particularly women. I think we tend not to take care of ourselves. We'll take care of everybody else, but the last person is here."

Despite personal challenges, the Academy Award-winning actress remains immersed in her work. Her latest project, "Babygirl," has drawn attention for its provocative content, in which she plays a high-powered CEO entangled in a relationship with a younger intern. The film, featuring Antonio Banderas and Harris Dickinson, has sparked discussions due to its intimate themes.

Kidman recently spoke about the experience of working on the film, telling Fotograma, "This was the great fortune of finding men like Harris, who walked into the kitchen and said 'Here I am, I'm yours.' And Antonio, who gave us the okay from the start. I saw him and I felt like we'd been married forever. That he was someone with experience."

Adding to her demanding schedule, Kidman is currently filming the third season of "Big Little Lies" and has multiple projects in the pipeline, including "Welcome to Holland" with Gael García Bernal and a sequel to "Practical Magic" alongside Sandra Bullock.

Meanwhile, Urban has been splitting time between the United States and Australia, where he was last seen in January. The country music star has maintained a steady presence in the industry, with upcoming tour dates and projects of his own.

Authorities have urged anyone with information about the burglary to come forward as investigations continue.
