The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is one of the newest devices allegedly coming out from the Chinese company, and many are curious about what it will look like. Specs have already come out, but most want to see the actual mold of the device to get an idea of what to expect.
Aesthetically, a video may help folks who are eager to see what the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 looks like. Thanks to a leaked video, the front and back portions of the upcoming device have been brought out into the open.
In the video, the front portion could be seen with a notch like most devices in the market to date. For those who have been following the company’s line of handsets, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 looks a lot like the Xiaomi Mi 8. Aside from the notch, there is also a slightly thick bezel at the bottom part, Gizmo China said.
The case is different for the back portion of the device. It shows a dual vertical camera with a familiar fingerprint scanner at the upper half of the rear panel. Some details were also demonstrated although blurry to make out. But most noticeable on the “About Phone” part is that the device will come with a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (at least for this phone version). The phone will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, backed by MIUI 9.
These specs align with the ones mentioned in a previous post. For those who may have missed it, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, backed by 6 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of ROM. It will sport a 6-inch (2246 x 1080 pixel) IPS LCD, has a 12 MP + 5 MP dual main camera, a 20 MP selfie-shooter and bank on a 4,000 mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has already passed AnTuTu benchmarking and performed impressively with a 285 K result. The device will allegedly be priced around $498 and will be made available in Europe and India. The former is believed to be the first region is believed to be the first device to showcase the device this September with India possibly launching the device in October.
Its performance in the said regions will be critical considering the device has yet to perform well in regions outside China. It also has yet to be revealed as to the quantities Xiaomi intends to produce.
