Since the on-road launch of its first generation model in 2011, Nissan Juke has been an eye-catcher among the car enthusiasts. Now the company is looking forward to launching the second generation model of the spectacular car, as confirmed by Nissan's global Design Chief Alfonso Albaisa.

According to Autoindustriya, the second-gen edition of Nissan Juke is expected to be unveiled in the mid-phase or by the end of 2019. Albaisa stated that the car has been designed in Nissan's London Studio. He also added that Nissan is also getting ready to demonstrate in an auto show which is scheduled to held within a few months.

Besides its speculated official release date, Albaisa also revealed some insights about the car's design in an interview with Autocar. He said that the second-generation Nissan Juke "doesn't look too much like the last one." He further added "it doesn't look like IMx," which was an electric crossover concept revealed last year in an auto expo in Tokyo. He also noted that it doesn't even resemble Nissan's newest electric sensation 'Leaf.'

Albaisa regarded the upcoming 2nd-gen Nissan Juke as a completely new concept. He addressed the car as an "an urban meteor with a nasty attitude."  While asked about the rumored sent back of Juke replacement for a redesign, he completely denied such allegations. He stated that the Juke "is certainly coming soon. But it didn't get 'sent back'. I'm not sure where that story came from. It's a very cool car and it still has all of its attitudes."

While asked about the specifications and features of the second-gen Juke, he kept his words short by adding that car enthusiasts will see a revolutionary masterpiece which is beyond their expectations. However, Autocar speculated Nissan Juke to be a next-gen advancement of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance's V-platform, of which, Nissan Micra and Renault Clio have been two wings.

Whether it will be a crossover stunner or a hybrid sensation is still a question left to be answered until it has been revealed for the first time. Nissan Juke second generation will also have some seamless designs in terms of its tires settings, according to major sources. Although it hasn't been confirmed by any officials. from Nissan's end. Car lovers can expect to see it in a car expo by the end of 2018.
