Musical.ly parent firm Tik Tok, which recently had a merger of both the video apps, just launched a new exciting feature for its video contents. This will allow the users to post their video reactions to the clips which they watch over the platform.

The company stated that the new reaction will be available with an update very soon. As per the latest reports from reliable sources, the update will be available for download o Google Play Store and Apple App Store by tomorrow or on the next day.

According to TechCrunch, the users of TikTok were previously only able to put their comments on the video clip that they saw on the platform. But with this new update, they will be able to record their own audio & video and react over the video contents on TikTok. Those who have used YouTube as a video sharing platform or have the knowledge about this might have seen and also sent such type video reactions very often. However, it is an absolutely new additional attribute for the users o Musical.ly and TikTok.

Both the video-sharing app had a hovering USD 1 billion tie-up deal, back in 2017. Bytedance, the Chinese company which owns TikTok and news aggregator Toutiao, acquired Musical.ly in accordance to the merger deal. As a result of this, Musical.ly was changed to TikTok, according to SLATE. Musical.ly users were moved over to TikTok with their existing videos and settings. The new platform provided more options for the users.

For sharing a reaction, one will require to click n the React option in the share menu for a given video content. The option can be located as the second highest option on the top-right corner of the user's smartphone's surface, while the TikTok is open. As soon as the user clicks on the option it will be ready to record the audio and video of the user as a reaction to the original clip, which he was watching.

Moreover, the users will be allowed to decide where they want to post their very own reaction. This means that they will be able to put the reaction at the position of their choice over the main video. This may sound little peculiar, but how the feature will work, in reality, could only be understood as soon as the update is released officially. In addition, Bytedance also promised to add more exciting features in near future. TikTok made its official debut in the US back in August 2018.
