Players of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" will be happy to get the latest update released for the game.
PUBG Corporation has released Update 21, a huge update that features the much-awaited and heavily-requested Training Mode, a brand new reward system, a new weapon, vehicle, and a lot more.
Training Mode
According to the patch notes, the Training Mode will have a map of its own. The map, which measures 2x2km, will feature all the basic aspects players need to master in the game. It features areas that will allow players, particularly new ones, to practice parachuting, CQC, and parkour skills with no fear of dropping below 1hp.
Up to 20 players can join a training session, which will last for 30 minutes.
Reward System
PUBG Corp. also added a new reward system that gives players supplies for completing certain missions. These missions vary, and they are refreshed every day.
Some missions will require players to deal 700 damage to enemies, or to revive teammates three times, or to eliminate an enemy using a specific weapon.
Players can also be rewarded for being such good campers. Surviving for 20 minutes, for example, is a mission that has a generous reward.
Once these missions are completed, players will receive survival XP used to fill up a survival gauge. Filling this gauge grants the player an additional survival level, in addition to rewards.
A New Weapon and Attachment
Update 21 also includes a new weapon, the MK47 Mutant. It's a new 7.62mm AR that can be acquired through world spawn on all maps. It can carry a maximum of 20 rounds but can be upgraded to 30 rounds using an extended magazine.
PUBG Corp also adds a laser sight into the list of available attachments. This helps players that have problems with aiming, as it helps reduce bullet spread when soft-aiming or firing from the hip.
A New Vehicle
PUBG Corp. also has a new vehicle exclusive to the Sanhok map, the Tukshai. This three-person vehicle is quite slow-moving but is perfect for Sanhok's environment.
Bug Fixes and More
These things make update 21 worth downloading, but Eurogamer notes that the myriad of other updates and bug fixes PUBG Corp. has included in the patch make it even more important.
These updates and bug fixes improve the user interface, the user experience, the game's performance, and do away with some issues that affect the gameplay and overall PUBG experience. Apparently, PUBG Corp. really wants to improve both the game and their relations with players -- and with this new update, they are doing it right.
