Nikon unveiled its very own first full-frame mirrorless cameras just a few weeks before. Well, to keep up with its rival, Canon also managed to unwrap its very own full-frame mirrorless SLR snapper. The new series dubbed as EOS R begins with the price tag of USD 2,299 for the body part only.  The full kit bag containing the new RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens alongside the main camera body sells at  USD 3,399.

According to Tnw, the brand new EOS R camera comes with the RF designation trademark for the mirrorless mount powered by a 30.3-megapixel sensor. The camera's Native ISO range can be expandable from 50-102,4000 up to the limit of 100-40,000. In addition, it will boast 5,655 AF points with 100 percent horizontal coverage. Canon EOS R will be able to capture up o 8 images per second alongside its supreme capability of shooting 5 snaps with continuous autofocus.

StarkInsider quoted that users of Canon EOS R will be able to utilize their EF and EF-S glasses with any one of the three adapters: Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R, Control Ring Mount Adapter and Drop-in Filter Mount Adapter. For the body structure, Canon has redefined the model of EOS R, with more of an SLR based design. The camera glares with a 3.2-inch touchscreen. It holds separate ports for connectivity of HDMI, USB-C, remote, headphone, and microphone. The camera holds Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi as inbuilt options.

Canon stated that EOS R holds exceptionally auto-focusing capacity for faster capturing of snaps even at a very low-light. As a starter, the camera can now be bought with a 24-105mm lens. However, Canon authorities will add up a list of new lens option for EOS R by December this year.

These include a 28-70mm f2 worth a hovering USD 2,999, an aperture which is expected to hold superlative capturing capability at a low brightness of the light. Other lenses include a 50mm f1.2 snapper worth USD 2,299 for best capturing effects of natural sceneries, a versatile 24-105mm f4 ring price tagged at USD 1,099 and lastly, a 35mm f1.8 hold the capacity of a 2X couple of macro lens costing USD 499.

However, the camera seems not a great option for video content creators. The video capturing capacity of Canon EOS R  is limited to only 30 frames per second at 4K resolution with a standard 1.7x crop only. The base model with the full kit setup will make its public debut in October.
