Nissan has long been known for creating masterpieces in terms of its vehicles. The company has mainly been into sports and luxury cars than other autos. However, Nissan is now looking forward to bring major improvements in its range of other motors as well. Perhaps, the first vehicle to be revamped in this season is the dashing Nissan Navara in a brand new Dark Sky avatar.
According to Cnet, Nissan unveiled the first ever look of the latest Nissan Navara Dark Sky concept on last Wednesday at Hannover Motor Show in Germany. The show, which was mainly a truck-centric expo, saw a brand new avatar of Nissan Navara, which is absolutely different from its existing variant of the mid-range truck. Moreover, the latest edition of the truck has been made in collaboration with the European Space Agency to tow a special trailer carrying a telescope module off-road. The new Nissan Navara may seem to look pretty similar to Frontier, which has been a long-time favorite to the people of North America. But the Dark Sky concept has more things to offer to its riders.
Autoblog noted that the latest Nissan Dark Sky concept holds huge knobby tires. The attribute is the same for both the truck and the trailer. It also has a light bar coupled with an integrated winch. The combination is enough to offer the truck, the capacity drive in any sort of diverse situations no matter it's on the freeway or, on a muddy countryside path. To protect the telescopic cab from hard pollutions and strains of mud and soil on road, Nissan has equipped special red lightning. Reports suggest that these kinds of lightning allow a sharp and wide view of the roads with highly active night vision. In addition, Nissan has placed the next-gen Nissan ProPilot Assist system alongside the car, which enables the truck to put better off-road performance as well.
Nissan's newest Navara Dark Sky Concept comes with a higher scanning capability, which allows it to check for a perfect parking spot for its trailer cab at any certain location. Altogether, Nissan reportedly kept the concept similar to its production version which was revealed earlier. However, the pitch dark makeover of the truck is making it massively attractive as well as impressive. Navara Dark Sky concept, powered by a Nissan Leaf battery pack, is expected to have its on-road launch by the final phase of this year only.
