Intel and AMD have been the battle against each other for a long time period now. Both the companies are known to innovate enormous ranges of products in terms of their CPUs. The former has just announced its latest ninth generation octa-core processor, dubbed as i9-9900K. The CPU is set to be officially released on this Friday, October 19. Just before that its most evident rival AMD is also grudging up its attempts to stay strong in the competition.

According to Extreme Tech, Intel's newest processor is said to be price tagged at a range nearing to five hundred US dollars. Some of the potential sources have already clinched an exact expected price range of USD 488 for i9-9900K CPUs. Just days before its expected official release, AMD has played its own trick to overpower Intel's next-gen processing unit.

The reports suggested that AMD has just announced a jaw-dropping 10 per cent price drop on its Ryzen 2700X processor, which is said to be the most competitive rival to Intel's i9-9900K CPU. The latest insights based on potential benchmarking has already clarified performance based comparison between Intel i9-9900K and AMD Ryzen 2700X CPUs. Intel earlier claimed that i9-9900K will be a superpower with at least 50 per cent better performance convenience than Ryzen 2700X. But when tested with high-end gaming titles the former was able to clinch a performance revamp than Ryzen 2700X of 12-15 per cent only.

Meanwhile earlier it was reported that Intel's i9-9900K will come with a price tag which is approximately 66 per cent higher than Ryzen 2700X. But with this price drop from AMD, it now seems that the difference of costing between i9-9900K and Ryzen 2700X may go way beyond expectations. As per a report by TechSpot, AMD launched its Ryzen 2700X with the price tag of USD 330. The processor saw a price slashed earlier in July, this year, at USD 320.

The October offering, which AMD has just announced, slated the price of the same dropping at USD 295, which is nearly 10 percent less than the launch price of Ryzen 2700X. Ideally, Intel is also expected to spell its own codes in terms of pricing of i9-9900K when it releases officially. But it seems that AMD is winning the game for now, as Ryzen 2700X conveys better facilities and utilities than Intel i9-9900K out of the box. AMD's October offer is now live at Amazon.
