Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was released just a few weeks ago and since its official unveiling the publisher has not stopped putting up new updates to the game. The players just saw the opening of Black Market just weeks before and now Treyarch is adding up COD points, which can be used as the game's microtransaction currency.

According to Polygon, the players of Black Ops 4 can now use COD points for buying tiers of the Black Market. The points can also be utilized for buying extra Nebulium Plasma in the title's Zombies mode. It should be noted in this context that this Nebulium Plasma can be used to reach up to the game's higher levels. As per the report, the COD points will also allow the users to unlock a tremendous reward called Special Orders.

The Special Orders are tied to the Black Market and will place extra rewards at certain tiers. So, if a player reaches up to a certain mark in the black market he will eventually get the access to take the benefits of Special Orders. However, these Special Orders are optional and it is solely a player's choice, whether to utilize his COD points for buying these in-game cosmetic rewards or not. Potential sources have also suggested that the new update is bigger in size than the earlier ones.

As per a report by Express, fans online has stated that the latest update for Black Ops 4 will require at least 11GB of memory space in PS4 and 12GB free area on Xbox One. Besides the COD points, the publisher has also added up a new range of weapons. With this update, the Gun Game has again returned to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Reliable sources have also suggested that a number of bug fixes for the game have also been extended with the new tweak up.

Activision and Treyarch are reportedly also looking forward to focussing on the in-game exploits. Treyarch stated: "We are currently tracking players implementing an exploit that allows multiple copies of the same Perk to be equipped in Multiplayer," "We are clearing those players' Create-a-Class entries as a warning and will be banning repeat offenders after this point. This exploit will be resolved in an upcoming update."

It further added: "As a reminder of our enforcement policy in Black Ops 4: Any player who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty." The penalties have been noted in details in the patch notes of the new update.
