NBA draft young stars soared high and have established their now-firm status during the opening night of the college basketball. Most of them are likely the topic in next year's draft.
According to CBS SPORTS, dozens of games are yet to be played for 2019 draft hopefuls and a place to improve or worsen draft stock. These are all expected to happen before the annual selection next June. Meanwhile, people may take a look at where things stand with a first mock draft's rundown of the season along with the NBA draft order determined by NBA regular-season projections of SportLine.
1. CAVALIERS - RJ Barrett | Duke | SF | 6-7
Barrett is destined to be a stat monster on the NBA draft's Duke team filled with overflowing talent. He has all the physical assets needed, which the teams also crave from an NBA wing as he stands at a built-out 6-foot-7.
2. BULLS - Zion Williamson | Duke | PF | 6-7
Some are questioning the overall skillset of Zion Williamson and if he has the offensive arsenal worthy of such a high selection. However, even if he is inconsistent this season, we cannot simply see how the Bulls would just allow him to pass by in this year's NBA draft.
3. SUNS - Cam Reddish | Duke | SF | 6-8
Reddish is among the most talented potentials in this list and it would not be surprising if he enters the top three. Unfortunately, Reddish is reportedly an enigma as his alleged inconsistency and questionable effort need to be significantly answered before he works his working his way into the top.
4. MAGIC - Romeo Langford | Indiana | SG | 6-6
This Indiana star will be best known for his classic offensive prospect. Langford is also expected to be an ideal addition to boost a team that has been in NBA's bottom five in terms of 3-point shots this season.
5. CELTICS - Nassir Little | North Carolina | SF | 6-6
Nassir Little definitely makes sense as he was picked via Kings. It does not matter whether Gordon Hayward will return to his former self in Boston or not. The team should not ignore their potential best available player on the board at No. 5 when the time permits. The earlier mentioned source cited how Nassir would be an excellent wing piece to a promising core with the most lethal roster of the East.
