The Washington Wizards are in total disarray with most players reportedly unhappy with head coach Scott Brooks. John Wall and Bradley Beal are reportedly on the trading block and several teams are expected to come knocking.

One team that has already made an inquiry is Charlotte. According to the Charlotte Observer, the Hornets have already made a call to inquire on a possible trade involving the 25-year-old guard. No details on a possible deal were mentioned as of this writing with the Hornet likely going through their personnel and other assets to make the NBA trade happen.

Aware that Beal is a player that would be hard to pass up, it also comes with risks for team owner Michael Jordan. Kemba Walker has been ablaze as of late, including a 60-point explosion against the Philadelphia 76ers last weekend, CBS Sports said. Adding Beal could make sense although seeing two score-first guards could eventually become a problem.

With an 8-8 record, the Hornets would be better probably off adding players to other positions. Seeing a Walker and Beal tandem would be deadly, assuming both find a way to co-exist. It all depends on how coach James Borrego will be able to define their roles and design a system fit for all.

Frustration seems to be boiling over at the Wizards camp with most players on the edge. This includes Wall and Brooks having a not-so-pleasant exchange when the veteran coach tried to intervene in a heated argument that involved Jeff Green, ESPN said.

The Wizards currently hold a 6-11 win-loss record in the Eastern Conference, good for 10th place as of this writing. With the season still in the early stages, a mass change of personnel could prove detrimental since it signals a sudden rebuilding phase at an unforeseen time.

Wizards management made it clear that any player is available for trade. John Wall is another player expected to draw suitors, same with Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre. Not only does it give them a chance to try out younger players, but it may also help them get some reprieve as far as the team salary cap is concerned.

More teams are likely to make inquiries on any of the players on the Wizards roster. Charlotte has broken the ice and there are also other teams being (unofficially) linked to John Wall. Porter and Oubre could get their share of suitors as well, not to mention other players on the roster.

It will be a long season for the Wizards as they try to find a resolution to the internal bickering. On how this affects their 2018-19 NBA campaign remains to be seen.
