The long-awaited new 2020 Kia Soul is finally here and it is bigger and smarter than expected. Kia has revamped the mid-2000 stunner and it's now an electronic vehicle which has been redesigned with the deep concepts of crossover. The car saw its universal unveiling at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
According to Autoblog, the new 2020 Kia Soul showcased relevant style tweak ups with three next-gen versions of the earlier entry-level Soul. Kia has upgraded the concept of the car with three basic editions, namely LX, S, and EX. Besides these, 2020 Kia Soul has upgraded versions as well. The EX Designer Edition comes with "two-tone paint between the roof and body as well as big 18-inch wheels." The previous Kia Soul Turbo has been replaced with the latest Soul GT-Line, which comes with two engine options: the turbo engine or the naturally aspirated engine.
As per another report by InsideEvs, 2020 Kia Soul EV boasts "a new state-of-the-art liquid-cooled lithium ion polymer 64 kWh battery which is expected to mean much less need for daily charging, and with Combined Charging System (CCS) DC fast-chargeiii as standard equipment, battery refills should be brief so road trip fun can happily continue after only a short break."
As for the inner specs and features, the Kia Soul EV sports enormous range of attributes. Some of these are: High-tech rotary shifter (shift-by-wire), 10.25-inch color touchscreen via with rear view monitorviii and parking guidance, 6-speaker audio system (AM/FM/SiriusXM)ix with USB input, Steering wheel-mounted audio controls, Apple CarPlayx and Android Autoxi, Bluetoothxii wireless connectivity with voice recognition, 7 airbagsxiii (dual front advanced airbags, dual front seat-mounted side airbags, side curtain airbags with rollover sensor, driver's side knee airbag).
In terms of safety measures, Kia has also added superlative 'Vehicle Safety Systemsxiv' to its 2020 Soul EV which features antilock braking, Traction control, Electronic stability control, Hill-start assists control, Tire pressure monitoring system, and Pedestrian warning system. Kia has taken special care for the driving comfort of 2020 Kia Soul EV, as well.
The car equips Power-folding gloss-black heated and power-adjustable outside mirrors with the signal repeater, 10-speaker Harman/Kardonxviii premium audio with an external amplifier, Wireless phone chargerxix, Leather-wrapped steering wheel, Heated front seats with Sofino premium non-animal seating upholstery and Auto-dimming rear view mirror. All and all, 2020 Kia EV is just the perfectly matched electronic vehicle one can dream of. The car is expected to be shipped worldwide by the end of the first phase of 2019.
