Nvidia RTX Titan has been a long-rumored GPU. It has now been teased in multiple social media platforms. Famous tipsters and leakers came up with their version of speculations for Nvidia RTX Titan. Although Nvidia has chosen to keep quiet about it for so long. The next-gen GPU of the company seems to be a beast as well as a masterpiece in making.
According to Engadget, " Google Brain co-founder Andrew Ng showed off the card on Twitter in an otherwise vanilla recruiting photo, "slow-mo guy" Gavin Free teased a shot of it on Instagram with his cat, and Linus from Linus Tech Tips "accidentally" pulled the card out twice on his YouTube show." Gavin noted in his tweet: "Ziggy the kitten is helping me upgrade my new GPU in the kitchen." This sounded more like a mimic but it was obviously the hint for Nvidia's next-gen RTX Titan.
NotebookCheck noted in another report: "Several influencers and YouTube personalities were seen teasing the NVIDIA RTX Titan GPUs. We're not sure what the new Titan card will be officially called as but from the pictures posted, we see a blue TITAN logo, two 8-pin power connectors, and an NVLink connector. The card seems to be sporting a golden shroud similar to the earlier Titan V card and is expected to feature a full Turing TU102 GPU with 4,608 CUDA Cores."
As far as the rumors are concerned, Nvidia RTX Titan will come with 72 RT cores coupled with 12GB of GDDR6 memory. This combination will be enough to beat the newly launched Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which equips 68 RT cores along with 11GB of GDDR6 memory. The price index of the Nvidia RTX Titan is still a big mystery to be revealed. But, according to the tipster, the costing of the same may see a relevant boost compared to that of the RTX 2080 Ti.
Nvidia's last Titan branded GPU came with a price tag of USD 1200. This was preceded by the launch of GTX 1080 Ti which was marketed at USD 700. The RTX 2080 Ti itself costs now USD 1200. So, the gaming geeks can expect to see a price revamp of at least USD 100-300 in terms of Nvidia Titan RTX. Although, there is no concrete information about its official release yet. The interested buyers can expect to see Nvidia Titan RTX by the first phase of the next year.
