Google's rumored mid-range smartphone has yet to be officially announced but enthusiasts anticipating the Pixel 3 Lite are already excitedly piecing together the puzzle of what the potential phone might bring to the market. To get the smartphone community even more excited, concept renders artists have just released the latest renders of what the Pixel 3 Lite would look like.
As Droid-life notes, the potential existence of the Pixel 3 Lite has already been leaked under the codename "sargo" - a departure from the original "bonito" codename leak. Known industry leaking Twitter channel OnLeaks recently posted concept renders that are claiming the featured smartphones are the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 Lite XL.
The concept render videos for the Pixel 3 Lite and its larger cousin - hosted by the Youtube channel 91mobiles - show a smartphone design similar to Google's first and second generation of smartphones. According to the video, the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL can be expected to be constructed out of polycarbonate material instead of glass as befitting a mid-range smartphone.
As the concept render video notes, Google smartphone enthusiasts can hopefully expect a two-tone plastic mold for both the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL with colors available in black and white. In addition, the OnLeaks video notes that there may be slight variations in the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL's battery capacity.
The publication mentions that the Pixel 3 Lite XL can potentially be a 6-inch display smartphone compared to the Pixel 3 Lite's 5.5-inch display. In addition, Google smartphone enthusiasts can expect the Pixel 3 Lite models to have 1080p displays - a highly desirable option for a mid-range smartphone.
GSM Arena notes that the new concept renders for the Pixel 3 Lite emphasize the potential return of a 3.5mm audio jack which was apparently removed when Google released their Pixel 2 back in 2017. The publication also mentions the fact that based on the concept renders, smartphone enthusiasts can expect a top screen bezel for the Pixel 3 Lite and its larger variant compared to the simple notch present on the standard Pixel 3 model.
GSM Arena also touches upon the topic of differing hardware components for the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL. With the larger workspace provided by the XL, Google smartphone enthusiasts can potentially expect a stronger processor to be onboard the Pixel 3 Lite's larger cousin.
With the Pixel 3 Lite yet to be an official product of Google smartphones, fans who are hoping that the tech giant's rumored mid-range smartphone is a reality will have to keep their fingers crossed. Hopefully, Google can officially announce the existence of the Pixel 3 Lite sometime in February 2019 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
