Character deaths are nothing new in the fictional world of Westeros. Every season someone dies and according to Richard Madden, Game of Thrones Season 8 likely does not end well for everyone.

Madden, who played the role of Robb Stark, former King of the North in Game of Thrones, has a rather grim prediction for how the show ends. Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter about his time in the show, the actor admits that he does not expect any of his co-stars to come out of Season 8 alive.

"I kind of think it's just going to be three dragons flying around, and everyone else is dead."

The Bodyguard star adds that "it's a possibility" this scenario plays out in the finale of Game of Thrones Season 8.  Although it would just be two dragons now, not three since one of Daenerys' children named Viserion has been turned into the undead by the Night King by the end of Season 7.

In the same interview, Madden looks back at his time in the show and reveals the cons that come with being a part of a hit TV show. He says that "one of the bad things" is having the scripts, so he already knew what was going to happen next.

Now that he is no longer part of the series, he can sit back and "truly enjoy it" as one of the audience member, which he admits is "thrilling." Just like the fans, Madden also cannot wait to watch Game of Thrones Season 8.

"I kind of don't recognise that I was in it anymore because I've been watching so many years of it, and they talk about Robb Stark and I know who he is but I don't see myself in that role. I'm just a viewer now, which is so good."

Madden's prediction on how Game of Thrones Season 8 ends comes in the heels of Aiden Gillen's rather predictable prophecy about the finale. The actor believes that just like any other past seasons, the final installment will not have a happy ending. He did not specify though if he meant this for the show in general or a particular character only.

Just like Madden and Gillen, Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth, also teased of a heart-wrenching end to the HBO series. She says that viewers would want to have therapy after Game of Thrones Season 8.
