Samsung's next bunch of flagships are slowly gaining ground with the Samsung Galaxy S10 family expected to debut sometime in February when the Mobile World Congress 2019 unfurls. A lot of rumors have flown the past couple of months but an alleged case for the Samsung Galaxy S10 may have just revealed an important feature that needs ample consideration.
The said case was actually designed for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, one of the bevy of new phones anticipated by the Korean Tech giant in 2019. This comes from Ice Universe, a source that has a good track record since they do have reliable contacts.
One feature that that Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to come with is the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensors. Leaked photos show the said screen protector laying on a Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It was a bit larger and closer to what the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus will reportedly have, Forbes said. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus will be sporting a 6.44-inch curved display.
From the image alone, it can be seen that the with the glass and the layer of adhesive between the standard glass and the extra layer, all the required vibrations are dissipated. If accurate, this should be the perfect screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus in terms of size and functionality. It also serves fair warning that other kinds of screen protectors (i.e. tempered glass) may not work accordingly.
According to SlashGear, it is likely that three out of the five models will make their way out in the open before the Mobile World Congress 2019. The remaining two is forecasted to come out by the end of the first half of the year.
The three models would be the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite (the entry-level offering), Samsung Galaxy S10 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. Of the three, the S10 Edge and the S10 Plus are expected to come out with curved displays. The other two models are the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Bolt. The former's display size remains unknown while the latter will have a 6.7-inch display.
The anticipated reveal date will be on Feb. 20, 2019, a week before the first day of the Mobile World Congress 2019. Samsung is expected to showcase a bunch of these models at MWC 2019 with the official launch likely to happen by Mar. 8, 2019.
As for pricing, the word out is that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will cost around $850, the regular S10 at $1,000 and the S10 Plus at $1,100, Gizmodo said.
