HBO has released very few details about Game of Thrones Season 8 that fans have no choice but to share theories, speculations, and what they know so far about the story. Below are some of the spoilers the internet has so far gathered about the show.

By now, fans are aware that the final season will only have six episodes although each episode may be longer than usual. The same directors who helmed the previous seasons are still on board for Season 8. The anticipated Night King battle happens in the third episode; this much is confirmed by the Night King actor himself Vladimír Furdík.

Furdik said the climactic fight between the living and the undead takes up an hour of the episode. It took 55 nights to film the outdoor scene while the rest happened in the studio.

Understandably, this battle takes place in Winterfell, which is the first line of defense in the North. A few set images leaked online revealed fire surrounding the Winterfell set, which could mean that Daenerys' dragons have their hands full with torching the White Walkers.

If not, then the chaos could be the rumored Battle of Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 8. Leaked set footage shows a group of soldiers seemingly pounding on the gate in unison. Could it be the Golden Company Cersei asked Euron to fetch in the Season 7 finale?

Speaking of Winterfell, the first scene in Game of Thrones Season 8 happens in winter town, a village outside of Winterfell. It is where Podrick and Brienne stayed in Season 5 while they waited for Sansa to light a candle in the broken tower. In this scene, Daenerys and her army arrive in a procession. Several of the shows' characters meet, some for the first time including Daenerys, Sansa, and Arya, as they all unite for the inevitable battle with the Night King and his army of White Walkers.

There is also a scene in the crypts under Winterfell between two cast members. These two characters hear a horn being blown, which could signal the arrival of something threatening like the undead soldiers.

The last Game of Thrones Season 8 spoiler involves Jaime. He makes it to Winterfell and meets up with Jon and Daenerys. Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau let slip that he has a scene with Davos and the last time fans saw the latter in Season 7 he was with Jon and company. Once there, he and Brienne of Tarth will be involved in a massive battle sequence and will fight the White Walkers together.
