The new year has just started and Apple is expected to deliver some exciting gifts in this year as well. The first and foremost in this lineup is Apple's next-gen operating system. The iOS 13 is already in its way to making. Apple has reportedly started testing its upcoming OS with a number of updates on the devices which support iOS 12 currently.
MacRumors dug into the matter with its sharp eye on the updates. For the purpose, the team of the source made a number of visits to the Apple's IP addresses on devices running iOS 13. The visits they made were frequent in nature. Firstly, they observed it closely in October 2018.
They spotted Apple devices running on iOS 13. The went on making visits throughout that month and in the next few months as well. However, the visits in the month of December were lesser. But there was a sharp rise in the number of Apple devices, especially iPhones, which installed iOS 13 updates.
The holiday season has just finished and MacRumors is also planning to revamp its efforts on visits. The operating system is reported to upscale many new features to iOS devices. According to MySmartPrice, iOS 13 will bring a number of new attributes such as "Dark Mode for UI, support for more USB Type-C accessories, smarter Siri, newer home screen arrangement for iPads, a better Files app, side-by-side instances of the same app on an iPad, multiple tabs" and others. iOS 12 runs on older devices up to Apple iPhone 5S as well. But, as per the latest updates coming from a number of potential sources and smartphone specialists, iOS 13 will not support the older versions of iPhones.
The claims even circulated that Apple may stop OS support and software updates, this year, to its handsets below iPhone 6. However, this hasn't been fully confirmed by any official sources from Apple's end. So, the users of iPhones below iPhone 6 may not panic and still relax, at least for now.
Apart from other features, Apple is rumored to include another revolutionary attribute: an option to hide or remove the Dock and a newly designed settings tab which will convey ease for the selection of default Mail, Maps, and Messages. The final and full version of Apple's iOS 13 is expected to release by the end of the first phase of this year.
