Another game to watch out for this year is Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt RED, which is the developer of the much-anticipated game, treated fans with an official trailer and an extensive E3 demo last year. Now, it seems like the waiting game will, soon, be over because new reports suggest that it will arrive in the last quarter of 2019.
A Reedit user claimed that fans would finally get their hands with Cyberpunk 2077 soon. The source, who is a Polish industry analyst, even forecasted that the upcoming game would sell more than 19 million copies worldwide with a total gross of USD 525.
If the prediction is correct, it does not necessarily mean that Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive before 2019 ends because the fourth quarter of the year extends to Mar. 31, 2019. Several media outlets picked up the forecasts, but it is important to note that CD Projekt RED has yet to reveal the game's official release date. Hence, fans should take these things lightly until everything is confirmed.
CD Projekt RED has kept mum about what fans should expect in Cyberpunk 2077. Though it was previously revealed that the game is playable from start to finish, reports have it that there are still a lot of bugs to fix before the developer can finally release it.
Patrick Mills previously divulged that the team behind the Cyberpunk 2077 game wants to change the industry and inspire other developers. "One of the things about this company has always been we want to show the game industry how to do things," Mills told EDGE Magazine in an interview. "We want to change the game industry. We want to say, 'We can do things differently, we don't have to do things that way.' It's in our motto: 'We are rebels,' right?" he added.
CD Projekt Red, reportedly, partnered with Digital Scapes for the up and coming Cyberpunk 2077 game. The Canadian studio, whose founders were former Relic, Radical Entertainment and BioWare developers, is working closely with the game company on producing and improving technological solutions for the development of the much-awaited game.
Meanwhile, for those of fans who are waiting for a Cyberpunk 2077 demo for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, keep your hopes down because it is not happening at all. CD Project Red revealed, in a tweet, that the game developer has no plans on hosting a pre-release gameplay demo. Stay tuned for the latest news and updates about the forthcoming new game.
